Advice...My girlfriend is almost two feet taller than me

I'm 6'3" and my gf is 4'10". People look at us. I can't imagine how often you get stared at, assuming the OP was serious, which is most likely not the case.

So yeah, our height difference has it's advantages in private, but I can't help but feel so helpless and weak in public. It's really embarassing sometimes. So I guess what I'm asking is if anyone else has similar experiences and how they've handled it.

If she's got no problems with your height, then I don't see why you have. Thinking this way and having these kinds of issues will only fuck up your relationship. Suck it up and get over it. So what if she's taller, you got the girl haven't you? fuck what anyone else thinks.

Lucky bastard. I'm 6'4" and I've never even seen a girl taller than me. Every girl I've ever dated has been 5'7". They're all so short. :(

I'm 6' 2" and I'd shoot your momma for a 6'5" tall amazon lady. Except my 5'3" wife would probably complain.

Oh, and my advice? Get some good climbing shoes and enjoy yourself. She also has bigger tits than you (hopefully) but that doesn't bother you. Why should her height?
 
my girlfriend is 3 inches taller than me, and Im not lie... its the only thing Im self conscious about in our relationship.

I don't know if I could date a girl taller than me (she'd be pushing 6'3")...but few girls are taller than me. I also couldn't date a girl that much shorter than me either, I prefer they're at least 5'6". You get much below that and it kind of makes me feel like a pedophile. My current girl's 5'10...perfect IMO

To the OP: Get a grip. The positives in this relationship far outweigh the negatives (which consist only of your insecurities). Whining about this will only make you appear that much weaker. Deal with it and appreciate a good thing when you have it.

Besides, if you didn't have her, who would piggyback you when your feet become worn out? Who would grab things from the high shelves for you? Who would protect you from spiders? Who would pre-chew all your solid food? No one that's who.

Follow this. If you say everything else is perfect, then enjoy it. You're a pretty short dude so it's not like you're height is perfect either. If you really do feel weak, go build up some muscle.

I've never really had a problem with it. If I met a girl I liked who was significantly taller I'd date her. Actually, my current GF is an inch or two taller than me and while I like to stand on my tip toes when we're brushing my teeth so I look the same height in the mirror, I really just do it to be silly. The height difference is a total nonfactor.
