We were the two biggest of the entire game by a huge margin. We owned the entire map. Even when we split, both of us were bigger than any other cell in the match. The only way for one of us to eat the other was to catch each other during a split. I chased him for a good 5 minutes once when he was just a little smaller than me but he got away by some conveniently placed spikes. In the end, he caught me in a corner during a fresh split and ate both halves. Dude is a God now.

Lol I did that accidentally last night. It was late and I decided to give up so I rammed into one of the bigger guys. He was pressed up to a spike and my added mass caused him to consume it and explode.

I totally stole this from someone else, but my favorite thing to do know is picky a name with an insult and an arrow pointing in some direction. Then just follow a person around and stay small, constantly point at them. Watch them get angry as they can't catch you until they finally split so they can get you. Then watch as they get eaten because they shouldn't have split. It's fun.

You cannot absorb any cell your size or slightly smaller. You absorb them if your cell if bigger than theirs. Your split cells join together within a few seconds. Just keep moving and you'll see it happen automatically.

I've found it significantly smoother on Chrome than Firefox.

ok the thing that gets me about dudes splitting to get me when I start is that I know they'll end up being eaten. It's self defeating, and fucks me over

pro-strategy: when small find the big dudes in the top 5. Hang around near them and act as a bottom feeder grabbing the dots around them. People are afraid to split at the risk of missing you and hitting the big dude and you're too small for the big dude to care about or risk a split for. This lets you develop a strong early game.

I love being chased by someone as I encounter some other cells to consume, and then suddenly become twice as large as the guy chasing me. TABLES HAVE TURNED MOTHERFUCKER.
