I hope so,they say to download the client either through Gamershell,which I did last week,or the torrent...hopefully it's when you create an account to play the beta that it doesn't look at your IP or doesn't care or something,because i'm in Canada :D

btw it looks like if you got a eurogamer key for one of the closed weekends, you cant get another. Bit shit really! On my page it says I got my key 26/6, which was one of the closed betas :(

Hmm, I wouldn't count on it. Wasn't there some fuzz about FP handing out EU keys etc, not quite sure but NCsoft seems to be pretty strict on the whole region thing...

Worth a try though!

Well if the euro servers know i'm in Canada,I may have a key to give out but I don't mind playing in French and I had no problems playing on Euro servers for the Warhammer Online trial for instance so not sure about this.

There is a option in the NCsoft launcher to set region as NA. Some are saying it will work.

I was in a earlier Aion beta (NA) so i assume that will unlock as open beta access then?

unless everyone needs new keys.

Have you preordered or did you just win a closed beta key? If you pre ordered then yes OB well be available if you only had a CB key then you will have to get an OB key.

edit: Does anyone else have a problem with their client not being able to update? Since this morning a new update was available but for some reason the launcher can't install it. When updating it tells me "Error During Last Operation". Repairing doesn't seem to work either.
And yes, I updated my client with the CB to OB patch a few days ago. :<

Her story unfolds in the limited run comic by NCsoft and DC's Wildstorm Studios.

Have they fixed the Gameguard issues? I'm using XP, Avira and Comodo Firewall. I preordered this game, I was very interested in it, but when the first beta begin, I didn't find any way to run the game, and NCSoft didn't give me any solutions (and the usual fix works only in Windows 7). Of course, I cancelled mi preorder :(

The comic has some pretty poor artwork. And yeah, it doesn't fit the game's graphical style at all. They obviously hired Westerners to draw the comic, and it looks like an American comic, when it should be in the style of the game's Asian origins, like a manga or a manhua. (I don't know what the Korean word for comic is.)
 
An Open Beta update via the Aion Twitter. If you EVER put in a key for any Closed beta event (single weekend keys too) you will have access to open beta :D

God damn, some crazy DPS coming from that Templar. I don't know what kind of Harry Potter magic they using there. Well, actually, I think he's stacking crit stones and has insane gear like that killer Giantsword(Expert Orichalcum Greatsword). He also has his weapon switch down to a science.

Damn that looks amazingly satisfying, is that pretty much what the game play looks like towards the upper levels? If so I am sold.

For leveling, you can do two things really for Templar. Use a Great sword and stack crit stones or use sword and board (which offers more options) and stack crit and block stones. Or switch, blah blah.

This mobs are pretty squishy by the way.

I've yet to find any really good Aion videos. =/ Either pvp or pve. PvP videos tends to be mainly gank videos.
 
Is the open BETA on right now? I'm pretty busy this week and the next couple so i probably won't be able to play. I'll be in the full game though!
