I don't think they will have enough servers for launch. I hope this doesn't turn into a scenario like WoW when it first launched and they had to add like 20 new servers because they didn't expect the demand. With 400,000 preorders already and the amount of servers right now, seems like they will get blasted on launch date when people who didn't preorder get the game.

Wow, I got like 3-4 problems at same time lol
First it wants to update to 1.0.0.0 patch which turns your game to Korean, then when I force start it I get 1024 error, and when I try repair at last stages it gives me error 38 or something like that and says I can repair it but does same thing all over again lol...
Not a good start, I don't think this will be fixed by tomorrow night...
And can't reinstall game due to slow conection and it taking like 2 days to download without patches lol
All worked well through CB and OB

For once this is one MMO I will not rush, I always find that I burn myself out way too quickly if I dedicate too much time to the game, I want this to last me more then a few months.desverger said:

If that didn't work either, then you might want to look for a mirror of the update, I can't tell you where, but pretty sure it has to be on a few legion websites, just make sure to scan it with an AV that doesn't gives false positives.
Edit: There seems to be a mirror for 1.5.0.6 in AionSource

If updating to 1.5.0.6 or redownloading the launcher doesn't help, all the people having random problems should contact NCsoft support (look for the US site if you aren't EU) directly.
Devs are recommending that since they seem to be particular cases, although many people are having problems, it's not a global issue and they need the feedback to be able to issue a fix.

I'm an idiot. I read that patch 0.0.5.0 to 1.0.0.0 will turn your game to korean and stuff, but after I installed that all erros went away, including 1024 one >.<

Just reinstalled the game and made sure everything in my OS etc. is set to german. I still get the Korean client. Have tried about every workaround there is in the internet but every single one of them fails me. When I can t play tomorrow on a English/German/(hell even French I would be fine with even though I don t speak it well) server, I will be angry ...

FINALLY:
1) Closed NCSoft launcher and renamed Aion into something else, like AionTest
2) Ran NCSoft launcher and clicked on Aion (which doesn't have North America) and chose the directory as AionTest.
3) NCSoft Launcher downloaded a 300MB patch and patched the game, I checked it, it works.
4) Closed NCsoft Launcher and Steam and renamed the AionTest back to Aion, with this, Aion shows as north america again on Launcher
5) Double clicked on "normal" Aion again and selected the Aion folder as install directory. Now it only shows "normal" Aion on launcher.

I got it fixed, thanks. The easiest way to do so has been mentionned earlier. But very briefly :
1) right-cilck your Aion (North America) icon in the lanucher and select properties
2) change the language setup from french or whatever you chose by default in english
3) game runs in english, better than nothing
Personally, I feel comfrotable with it. Didn't try to put it back on french though...

Am I the only one who doesn't have an Apply In-Game Items link in their actions list? Or haven't they added that link yet? If they haven't it doesn't make a whole lot of sense telling us to get our items before it is even possible in the Launcher.
