Bourbon: Jack Daniels, Maker's mark, or Evan Williams(poor man's Jack)

failure. Jack is Tn Whiskey. why? because it is charcoal filtered. Yes, there is a law on what can be legally called bourbon - Title 27 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Chapter 1, Part 5, Section 5.22. same basic process, but that added filtering removes the bourbon label from the drink.

but yeah, i love bourbon. it is so flavorful and delicious in all it's many brands.

(evan is a legit bourbon, btw -- the only other tn whiskey is dickel. both it and jack are good, don't get me wrong, but they're different from bourbon)

Those are my suggestions. If you aren't a beer man (psshaw, I say!), just go with Rum and Coke. It makes a belly happy (and eventually quite large).

If you're going to get vodka, I recommend Gilby's in the blue bottle. It mixes quite well with coke.
