Hey look it's me playing as a Marine and not looking remotely as good as I do as an Alien!

Yay! So fun still though. Playing as a Marine is just so much more atmospheric than the other races, even if it isn't as empowering.

and predator 2 was a fun film. it's only really the casting of Danny Glover as a super cop that lets it down... which is weird because the rest of the casting was really good.

watching you play the PC AvP has me wondering if they could do a DS version of the game with simple controls etc that would rule, I really loved that Pc game if the xbox 360 version is anything like this then I will buy it for single player (if the single player is great for the marines I will get this)

It didn't have wrestling scenes between the aliens and the preds. Nor did it feature a Predator making a spear and shield for a human "warrior".

It was better.


Still, is one of the worst fucking movies of all time though.

Hell, I felt cheated that they largely pussed out of really doing anything with the promised scene where an alien agonizingly chest-bursts out of a kid. What do they do instead? Kill 50 fucking pregnant women.

2. Predators are walking the hallways of the spaceship, minding their own business, when they see the Predalien.
2. Predators subsequently get owned.
3. One Predator sees the Predalien run off again, but manages to record it on his visor.
4. Predator uploads the clip to YouTube.
5. Back on Predator homeworld, video reaches 1,345,004 hits in an hour; comments include, "OMFG!" and "Jesus, wtf?!?"
6. One Pred watches the vid, gives a 5 star rating, and decides if he hunts down the Predalien, records it, and makes a video response, he'll be totally famous.

Since AVP is a Steamworks title and retail copies can be preordered for cheap as chips in the UK, I can probably help a few of the PC GAF regulars out in getting the game for cheap if you guys want? SEGA and Rebellion can confirm that the first iteration of the Aliens vs Predator multiplayer demo on PlayStation Network has been taken down. An updated version of the multiplayer demo is available now on PlayStation Network.

The first iteration of the demo suffered matchmaking problems resulting in some players experiencing difficulties getting into matches. The new demo resolves this issue and PlayStation 3 players are now able to create their own matches and browse for any available matches.

PlayStation 3 players using the old demo will not be able to connect to matches running on the new demo, so Rebellion and SEGA would please ask that all PlayStation 3 users ensure that they are playing via the new demo only.

“SEGA and Rebellion worked closely with Sony’s engineers on the PlayStation 3 multiplayer demo to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
