Thats just the tech limitations / art direction of the game. Of course Aloy is not photorealistic in HZD.

It always amazes me how much Aloy triggers certain people.
HZD got big because hunting robot dinosaurs in post apocalyptic earth is fucking awesome.
The game is certainly not flawless but it's quite good.

I already compared her face in the past, she does look like a puffier\uglier version of the real life model, there is nothing more to say tbh.

They are mad that a lot of people loved horizon more than botw because they were released close to each other, and no game can do better than botw in any aspect.

I love BotW AND Horizon, take that dividers of fun!
How could you even compare them, clearly trying to do different things, I bet Aloy couldn't cook a hearty mushroom stew to save her life and Link wouldn't even be able to comprehend an AI Robot Foundry.
Having said that, it seems likely BotW 2 will have more story about the machines because we've seen the underground in the teaser and they said they were buried deep in the eath in BotW... fuck I've changed my mind I now hate the Nintendo Indie World thats coming today because I want more BotW 2 news instead

They will finally be removing the F2P restriction in a coming update. It's likely already updated but I can't check to verify either way since I do have Ultimate.

do kids even play other games today? Its so weird. When I was a kid i had tons of nintendo carts and then snes, genesis. I got a paper route at age 12 and bought a whole console and tons of games of many genres. Variety was great. It seems today they are obsessed with fortnite, minecraft or roblox and f2p games.

I think a lot of it has to do with her hair. The hair really makes her face look more puffy than it would if she had straight hair on the sides of her head.
I didn't really see control as having an issue. Although now that I am looking at some screeshots, she does have the same type of face as the singer Pink (ewwww.... i went to highschool with that B. Need to erase that thought, as I haven't finished control yet). I don't know if its bad modelling or just devs listening to ideolgoues and antita s. influence.
