Amazing Spider-Man teaser LEAKED

Looks fine, I guess. Would rather they skip his origin and go straight into Peter being Spiderman. We all know what what happens to Peter in the beginning so it just feels like a waste of time redoing that part again.

i'm not interested in another origins story. anybody looking forward to another spider-man movie already knows who the damn hero is and how he came to be. the trailer looked boring until the first person view showed up. should be pretty cool in imax.

That's the most iconic sequence from the character's origin, of course it's going to be in it.
Then do something different.

Be creative.

Tell a new story.

I mean seriously does anyone care at this point how faithful they are to the same 1940s or whatever telling of Spider-Man, Superman, and Batman? I bet people would rather be entertained and see something new instead of the film basically running down a list of keywords.

Just the thought of another Green Goblin story, the Grandma, and the Mary Jane drama makes me die inside

Mary Jane should not play a big part in this movie and we also have lizard as the bad guy .

then the fans would be mad it aint faithful

you cant please everyone man

bottom-line is: everyone's gonna see this. No matter what people are saying here.

The childhood flashback was badly done/lame. Definitely not trailer worthy.

Pre-spider-man geeky Peter Parker and him getting bit was done better in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man.

The whole first person spidey view is nice for a video game fan I guess but not that great. I'd rather that section BE for a groundbreaking video game.

Yeah but to be fair, there is a huge difference between the Batman reboots. I really feel this just looks like more of the same, except a bit darker.

Then again, guess we'll have to wait to see the entire film before judging all.

Yeah, considering its just a teaser anyway. I guess I can see the idea of an origin in new light because of how much I hated the last spidey movie. I'm slightly hopeful this could be good.

If the Batman reboot was 8 years you could say the spidey reboot is 5 years.

Might want to look up definition of reboot.

I'm not sure I'm gonna see it if the Mirror's Edge parts are very prominent. Cloverfield actually made me throw up in the cinema and this, while spectacular, looks even more nauseating.

You're measuring it from the start of the series though, except in the case of batman. Removed as they may be, I consider Batman through Batman and Robin to be part of the same series.

Better than the DKR teaser, but still nothing to really get my juices flowing. Theatrical trailers for both should be much better, hopefully.

Yeah I really don't want to go through another Uncle Ben death drama thing.

I liked the first-person sequence.

Could have done without yet another origin story.

Garfield shows nothing special here, and there was no sense of Spider-Man's funny side showing. #Donald4Spiderman

Actually, and I guess this may not be something you can judge from a trailer, Marc Webb doesn't really show anything special here either, except the first person sequence.

NEITHER are trailers. They are teasers. The DKR teaser is perfect because it TEASES.

Though if the Amazing Spiderman teaser is indeed 2mins+ long it a little lengthy for a teaser. But a teaser none the less.

I think he's saying the theatrical trailers, once they come out, should be better than these teasers.

not

These theatrical trailers should be better.

"Hopefully" indicates this, i think.

Eh, There were 3 different Batmans in that time period. Not to mention the change of directors/direction up to the joke that was Batman and Robin.

EDIT: I guess they follow the same storyline though. lmao

Ahhh yes. You are indeed right.

As way of compensation for this slight I have PM'd you a picture of me in Speedos.

You're welcome.

They are obviously completely different, but I still wouldn't consider them full reboots.

What's the point of this? They should have waiting at least another 10 years because they just made a trilogy.
After about a decade of superhero movies I think I'm ready to kill myself. Please no more. It just looks like shit by this point.

Except for Batman 3 - can't wait for info on that

I'm getting burnt out too. It feels worse that it ever was before this decade but someone with more patience should do a number of superhero movies per year listing for comparisons sake to see if it's worse and by how much if so.

The way things are going the studios are just going to remake the same films every ten years anyway.

teaser looked decent but the first person bit was sooooo damn good. I want a first person spider-man game but unfortunately actvision is the holder of the license.
a dice spider man game would have been so awesome.

You can't call that a teaser, it was a full blown trailer. TDKR on the other hand teased.

List of American superhero films

Basically, except for Superman and Batman, there were none until Blade in 1998.

There are five each this year and next.

if that was rhys ifans, i think i mistook him for tmnt ii-era david warner.

they should get tmnt ii-era david warner to play curt connors. that would be awesome.

Reboot is too early. The first Spiderman just came out.
I agree, I don't know how to feel about this. I would've preferred a Spiderman 4 rather than just refreshing the story and reiterating in a different skin. It'll just coerce me to keep remembering the first Spiderman movie which was great.

Someone played too much Mirror's Edge, judging from the last part of the trailer.

yeah, i'm going to need dice to drop whatever they're doing and get started on this. and get david warner to do something too. that guy's awesome.

Whole trailer was meh, first-person segment was awful (terrible CG for 2011), part of the final movie or otherwise.

Though that may be because of the bad quality.
