I imagine there's a pretty decent chance, since Nintendo helped with publishing last time and sold reasonably well in the west (one of the few third party titles that did well in th west for the wii u).

That turned out to be BS. Nintendo Spain said they would have a demo of the Japanese version at an event in Barcelona, but it wasn't there at all.
