Whichever one I get first (hopefully midnight release at BB), I'll keep and return the others. But I don't see myself getting fucked at this point (crosses fingers)

Absolutely ridiculous. BB in store is doing midnight releases; he about being a good gamer and cancelling the orders you aren't even going to keep. Ridiculous.

Just strolled into GameStop to reserve Zelda and they had still over half of their allotment available so I just preordered one in store. Would rather pick it up myself then ship it anyway. Might still keep my Amazon order just in case though.

It was available on Amazon when I got home last night, but I didn't want to pre-order it until after watching the event. I checked Amazon afterwards and it was sold out. I just managed to snag one since it's back up again!

When the Xbox 360 came out, I preordered at Blockbuster GameRush. At the time, they were way better than Gamestop and were a premier seller of games.

I checked every.single.day for two weeks that there were no issues.

And then the night of, my Xbox was stuck on a plane in Ohio. I ended up camping in line in 18 degree freezing weather in shorts and a t-shirt for 12 hours outside of Best Buy to get the 35th out of 36 systems they had ready for launch.

Never again.

I've been "screwed" like five times at a console launch. So now I just over prepare.
