Just being paranoid, since I changed it to my credit card instead but didnt get a notification or anything but the order does show the new card. Sorry for asking in this thread though.
 
The cable damaging stuff needs to die with 2016. That was mainly due to faulty cables long since recalled.

Buy a good Anker USB-C cable and wall charger and your set. People need to stop acting like they are the boogey man.
 
Still no update regarding the shipping date being later after I changed shipping speed to be faster. Maybe I should contact them regarding this.
 
Is there anything that comes in the original package that gives a way to charge the tablet without plugging it into the dock, or are we just using USB-C cables?

Don't be surprised when your Switch barely charges — or depletes — while you use it.

Correct (and you can buy the AC adapter separately).
 
This seems like the most active Switch thread so I'll ask here. Anyone seen a power / charging indicator light on the Switch while undocked? Don't tell me this will be a feature of the phone app, too? [/s]

You get a notification on your phone/email when it's done charging. There is a phone app separate from the multiplayer one that when it's pulled up does battery charge/ drain rate. Just don't leave it up while charging because the extra processing outweighs the charge rate and you'll lose battery even when plugged in.
 
It's come up a few times whether the official case holds any games. I just happened across one of the accessory leak images from before, and it says it holds 4 game cartridges.

I haven't seen anything on it in photos or specifications. I'd guess it'll use an onscreen indicator/notification and that there just won't be an indicator while in sleep mode, much like most smartphones.
 
So I've been busy the last two days and have been unable to check the internet, but the Neon Switch didn't go up on Amazon did it? From what I skimmed through the last 10 pages I didn't see anything but I'd just like to confirm.

Doesn't look like it will go up at all at this point. I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen until close to launch.

I'm in the market for a case by i can't decide yet. This one you posted for example wouldn't have space for the straps right? Id prefer a case that could have room for the switch and the 2 joycon with their straps on.
 
By the way, for the people that got a preorder date, whats your estimated delivery date?

Mine is March 8-11, I thought they would deliver on launch day :(

You should contact Amazon support directly and ask them yourself instead of relying on anecdotal evidence from this thread. Seems like results can vary for this sort of thing so it'd be better to ask and maybe they can change the address themselves without incurring in risk or something.

Amazon France is still taking preorders for the Neon. Get a French address ASAP.
 
I'm saving up for the Switch and I really wish Nintendo would ship out some more to Amazon. I want to pre-order asap once it's up but the question is, when?

I'm a fan of the inside of this case, but not so much the outside of it.. I know it's just a case but I'm just trying to find one I think I'd use more. But I'll keep this one in mind, thanks for the link!

Generally I dont think this is is an issue on Amazon US. I changed my PSVR pre order address like the a day or 2 before shipping, and still arrived launch day. But wouldnt hurt to check with CS first.
 
I went to Gamestop to preorder Zelda, and asked if they had a notification list if Switches go on preorder again. I guess they don't do waiting lists for in store? She told me that there is a sign up, and that if Switch preorders were to go up again, that I'd get an email. The cashier scanned something, and now this is on my preorder list:

I got one locked in on Amazon, but I'd much rather get it as early as possible on the 3rd.
