Stealth troll? There was absolutely NOTHING stealthy about the trolling, it was pretty over-the-top, which is a huge part of its appeal.

In this day and age of constant stealth wars and firmly-dug trenches it was a pretty refreshing sight to see someone whip out a grenade and run to the enemy encampment while buck naked and shouting obscenities. It was executed quite nicely, and a lot of posters bit on the bait and added atmosphere. We even got a good gif out of it, so i don't see it as a waste.

I had a good laugh about the blatant trolling in the OP and the ensuing chaos. On the other hand I'm no Sony fan, and if someone did that with Nintendo I'm not so sure I'd have had the same reaction. I'd like to think I'd have smiled nonetheless.

Eh. He included a link to the list in his post. He has a Samus Aran avatar. He didn't even hide his edit by putting in some plausible titles. Had he posted a list where all entries had looked in-order we would've noticed it way later. Honestly, nowadays precious few read the linked article/site and rely on what's posted here - especially since the "whole" list would have been posted here. There would have been no point in clicking the amazon link. He put up a huge sign with the "NA"s that led many to click the link out of curiosity. Not exactly stealthy.
