Judging by these photos its clear that the big plot twist is that Spidey is actually bigfoot. Blurry motherfucker.

Disappointed about Jameson. JK was one of the best things about the Raimi trilogy (Not bashing it, he was just THAT GOOD). If Peter's working for the Bugle, I at least hope that they mention him. Maybe see his silhouette yelling at someone through the frosted glass or something.

And, Spidey has eyes. I was kind of getting excited about the idea of CG eyes, but I should have known it was unlikely.

I still remember when Peter jumps onto a brick wall in his wrestling outfit in the first film and the cut to CG is so obvious it's painful. Not Scorpion King painful, but close.

I also prefer mechanical web shooters. In the 90's cartoon it lead to a lot of tense "oh shit!" moments when he either ran out of webbing or wasn't wearing them.

Really skinny piderman in set photos.

Actual stunt work? Wow. Maybe the action scenes won't look like a xbox game now..

There were a lot of similar stunts in previous movies too. I guess they are jumping/landing scenes where there is an actor and stuntman does simple tricks and computers handle the rest.

Am I the only one who finds these pictures frightening?

Also, it's painfully obvious why they released their first official photo when they did. Spidey-images are starting to role out like mad. We need a better photographer taking the pics though.

Someone get Parker!

In order to get into his role, Garfield should start taking the pics himself and selling them.

My problem with it in the comics was that Peter Parker was always complaining that the web costs money to make, at the same time (maybe for this reason) he was always broke.
It always felt like he needed a fucking accountant: "look dude, you're poor. You can just tie the criminal's arm behind his back, wasting a whole cartridge to hang the guy on the lamp post with a note for the police is showboating with money you don't have".

NtF EXCLUSIVE – Stan Lee’s “Spider-Man” Reboot Cameo Revealed!!!

A very good source has given Nuke the Fridge details on Stan Lee’s cameo in the “Spider-Man” reboot.

“The Lizard and Spider-Man will be involved in a huge battle inside a school library. Stan Lee is a librarian fixing up the books.”

There you have it!!!

You heard it here first on Nuke the Fridge.
Haha! If true.

Lizard: Rawr!
Spidey: Shush! We're in a library.
Stan: You tell him...

Apparently they can't afford proper security when the production has the budget of a craft services table.

transformers has a huge budget yet when they were filiming, pictures were all over the place.

Urgh, I hope not, and its something more substantial.. I mean the only (well at least it seems that way) action movies we get these days are in the form of comic-book adaptations, and in the past 10+ years since their 'renaissance' I can't remember a real classic action scene.

Train scene in Spiderman 2, mang.

- Casino Royale parkour scene
- Death Proof car chase
- Spider-Man 2 train scene as Snowy mentioned

I'm not sure what you mean by "real classic action scene", but for awesome action in a comic book movie you should watch Kick-Ass. There's really been a lot of great action scenes in the last 10 years in a wide number of movies, don't know what you're talking about.

Set photos show that he's Spider-man alright, though I don't know if I like the suit up close

the glove areas look very 90s/Ben Reilly-inspired. though with the exception of the utilitarian design of the gloves I doubt it's something he would've designed himself

Who wants to see that, unless you want a poorly-sewn together spandex outfit with a painted-on spidey logo.

It does look a bit more believable than Raimi's outfit tbh, especially considering the first movie showed Parker wearing something he made himself at first. :P

Anyone else going to find it funny, if this movie turns out better than the other Marvel superhero movies in production?

Seeing how it is the directors second film.

It's pretty much an afterthought that this will be better than anything Marvel produces.
