How about get the story right and forget MJ until the second movie. We need to see the whole Gwen Stacey sequence in this movie (at the end), it would be great if done right.Sadist said:

I haven't seen this guy act yet, but he is in two films coming out this year I'm going to watch so I'll reserve commenting on that. He does really look like a Peter Parker though. Toby was always missing something in my opinion, some sort of key element as Peter so I don't think I'll miss him at all.

That was the only point I was trying to make. I loved Maguire in the role, but there are certainly valid criticisms against him. But saying that he wasnt funny or snarky enough is unfair, because neither is his fault. It would be more apt to say that the writers didnt understand the character.

Sheen as Uncle Ben is cool news, but for some reason I see him as a little too awesome to portray Uncle Ben. Like "no criminal would be able to shoot him dead" badassery of Sheen. But still a solid choice.
Also, cant find pics anywhere, but one of the movie mags out there (think EW, not sure) had a picture of Emma Stone from "The Help" where she is rocking the blonde do. Gotta say, it suits her well.

Exactly. Ugh. I have faith in Garfield's acting abilities, and Marc Webb is a good enough director, but I still have a bad feeling about this film.DoctorWho said:
