I was under the impression that it was basically an HD2, WVGA LCD. If not, then I'll be very, very happily proven wrongThe Interrobanger said:We don't know anything about the screen type or resolution yet do we?

edit: Thanks for the reply.. but after some research I think I'm going to wait until the HTC Legend or Desire arrive.

Couple of new stories for android-GAF today:

Wall Street Journal reports that it expects CEO of Sprint Hesse to make the Supersonic the centerpiece of Sprint's CTIA presence next week (fuck yeah!)

1.6 gets a bit of love with Gesture Search Support
The only problem is their limited 4G network upgrade rollout this year.Manmademan said:now THAT'S what I'm talking about. The supersonic is hot shit on a taco
Well I have to hand it off to Sprint, their timing is fucking spectacular, I was likely to finalize the "free Moment and plan on grabbing a Supersonic later" deal any day now. Back to the waiting game, and I'm back on the N1 train.mj1108 said:

It's on like Red Dawn. Now I can choose between this and the Supersonic. I hate the trackball (the lump), so I'm actually leaning towards the Supersonic. But I'll wait and just get the one with the best specs. PEACE.mj1108 said:
It sucks living in Miami, because we might be one of the last to get 4G. 3G is fast enough, but 4G would be much better. PEACE.Manmademan said:the 4g network has already been rolled out. I have it in philly (and am using it through clear as my primary home internet) it's fast as hell. the rollout this year is just for additional markets- they're actually surprising me with the coverage so far, I didn't think it'd be nearly as expansive as it is at this point.
it's also 3g capable, and sprint's 3g is nearly as robust as verizon's. there is no downside to this phone.

Yes, but they're network isn't very extensive. I was speaking about their plans for expansion for this year.Manmademan said:the 4g network has already been rolled out. It'll likely be sales suicide for them any later than very early Q3 so hopefully by mid-April. The hardware already exists so I don't see why they wouldn't have them rolling out almost immediately. Just stamp a Sprint logo on em and they're good to go.DeadFalling said:Well hot damn. They heard my cries for Nexus One!! :lol
now: SS vs N1
anyone have any predictions on a release date for Sprint N1? I know nothing has been said yet.

I was hoping with the way Sprint kept tlaking about "release date coming soon" so much, even putting it in the title of their press release, that it might come out at CTIA maybe? The AT&T N1 came out of nowhere...Andrex said:Hrm maybe they'll launch both the Sprint and Verizon ones at CTIA... nah. Would be pretty cool though.
hitsugi said:that's the only option if you're going to buy an iPhone D: buying one now would be completely asinine unless you just had money to burn.. in which case you might as well get the N1 for now.
