ANY widget. I finally have a full page widget for pure messenger, and i filled in all the little gaps i had between widgets on screens.
Anybody tried Crystallight Defense yet? It looks pretty good, though I have Robo Defense Full so I'm not sure how much I need another tower defense game, though the graphics do look better on this.
Good news! I love that new widget, it's at least a step in right direction even if you do have to go out of browser for some things which is inexplicable. That means I'm still only giving it a 3 and will put a comment on there that they need to keep it all in-app.

Only thing bad about resizing is that it wont make them bigger than they already are it seems....
EDIT: Andy what new widget? The Facebook widget looks the same to me...

New launcher pro update, dev says he fixed the lag and fc caused by the introduction of the bookmark widget.
Anddddd we're back! The resizing of widgets is really cool and works well most of the time, but with up to 7 screens and docks+gestures for app shortcuts I'm amazed that people find themselves needing that much room. I guess it's helpful for some annoying widgets like Foursquare, which is an awkward and annoying size.

This is true. Glad he fixed the lag tho. It was making my music stutter. I really don't need the adjustable stuff. I got a whole empty screen left thanks to the dock. I'm so glad I don't have to use a hacked ROM to get the 3D app drawer feature. It's so slick.

I believe you can do that and have been able to do that for quite awhile now. What you would do is in settings, set the default screen to 1, while setting the number of screens overall to however many you want(up to LauncherPro's limitations, of course). That way, the "true" home screen is the first and you have no choice but to scroll right to get to other screens.skybaby said:

Edit: Oh wait, you're talking about the App drawer? Nevermind, then. But I guess it seems like you can accomplish the same with setting the homescreens similar to what I stated.

Yep the 3D dock is super slick. Stock 3D drawers have a bounce so that a full row is always shown on top I believe and the LP drawer doesn't so I guess that's a big help. I honestly don't mind the 2D top/bottom fading stock 2.2 drawer but LP is just miles better than stock and 3D is where it's at
And yeah, I guess there are some widgets were making them bigger is good. Didn't think of it that way but imo a widget has to be really awesome to earn full screen - and none other than LP's calendar have hit that rank for me. I don't use Astrid though.
Can I ask why? I find it annoying to have to flick three or four times, I feel like 3D plus a long list is a best case scenario. You don't like the 3D drawer?

I love the translucent background, and the cleaner look to the iPhone-style app drawer. Just matches my overall theme better than a solid black background and a long list.
The extra fraction of a second it might take to get to my app isn't really all that meaningful...

So I lost my Hero on a night out last night...
really wish I'd installed one of those apps that can do a remote wipe and stuff. I've changed my google account pass, my facebook pass etc, anything else I need to be doing? When it tries to sync again will the contacts disappear on the phone or will they still be there?
Quite frustrating as I don't think its going to be covered under the house insurance and I didn't take out any other cover on it. I'm not due for an upgrade until April either!

There wasn't that much by way of apps on it so I can't do that. Whats really more annoying than anything is how on Earth I'm going to replace the thing... I loved having an Android phone, but getting a new one while I'm still in contract would probably cost me hundreds

You could get TMobile Mini Pulse for £90, I'm sure you could get it unlocked for your network

Course it won't be a match for your Hero (2.8" screen 320x240 res, resistive) but it could plug the gap until something else comes along.

I've seen a few on eBay that can go for as low as £150 but as high as £250. Worth a look.

Regarding the new Facebook App update... when I downloaded the update (9:35am EST here), and go to Manage Apps > Facebook > Version number I get is 140. Not 131. Anyone else see that? Are internal version numbers different? Pretty sure it was 121 and then 130 previously before this new fixed update.

Looks like you can fix the Force Close on the Friends if you go to Settings > Sync > Facebook and turn off the Contact sync. Considering that Facebook HTC Sense ALSO has a Contacts sync, not sure if the data would clash at all.

This kind of crap happens to me all the time. It seems like the Market is one of the buggiest apps. Give it 5-10 minutes. If it still doesn't start, try cancelling and redownloading.Mikasangelos said:
