Anyone tried Connectbot or any other SSH client on X10 Mini Pro?

EDIT: Or any other SSH client on any other Android phone for the matter...

I used connectbot on Droid to connect to a UNIX server at school. It seems to work really well I have had no issues with it and it allows you to save multiple connections. Outside of this I haven't used it much, and I don't know much else about it.

Launcher Pro had a nice update today, if you add apps through the shortcut way, you can change the App name and Icon. Really awesome.

Ah nice. I actually got a chance to play with it on my dads X10 Mini (not Pro) and it works rather well... if you have a keyboard that is. The text is damn small thought.

I also tried it on an emulated Desire (480x800 Android 2.2) and it was a lot better, even in portrait mode with onscreen keyboard. Cool to see that SSH and mobiles actually works together so well...

New Wordfeud update to v1.0.6 is great. Adds new notification options, highlights last played word, and makes special tiles slightly transparent.

Still waiting for a friends list though

last played was a much needed (wanted) feature for me, it's looking great

Hey, so I got an Incredible a few days ago. The facebook app seems to be broken because it gives me an error whenever I try to look at my notifications. Are there any good substitutes? Is there a way to see if I have the latest version?

IMHO nothing beats m.facebook.com

Download the official one from the market, my friend had that same problem and uninstalling/dling official from market fixed it. The one installed wasn't even the lastest one, if you don't have a image slideshow type thing on the main page it isn't the latest

Has anyone bought Galcon for Android? I like the game, but I'd like to make sure the port is not bad.

Yes. This is the only version I have played but it works great. It has also been on the recommended apps from Android Central, and I believe I have seen comments confirming it is as good as iOS version.

I have no issues at all, fun game.

weee the NFL app for Verizon has been released for all android devices

Works on my EVO

Also works for my Captivate. Great app. For those with errors, make sure you install the latest version. I installed the one in the beginning of the thread and got errors. I uninstalled and then installed the one near the end of the thread.

FYI, my phone is rooted, side loading and all markets enabled (unleash the beast script from XDA).

Bought launcher pro today, been waiting for a good Facebook stream widget, and given what a godsend lp has been to my sgs I figured it was time to dip in.

Also liking the new updates in wordfeud. Great day for app updates!

Talk to me about Music Mod. It replaces the stock music app, yes? I have root on my phone and backed up the stock music app with Titanium Backup. Is it safe to install Music Mod over top of the stock app at this point? I just want to be sure I don't put myself into a state where I can't play my music on my phone. Any tricks?

I know it may sound kind of weird, but is there an app that allows you to record phone calls? I'm going to have to interview someone by phone, and I'd rather have a direct recording than set it to speaker and use a mic.

anyone having force close browser issue when trying to watch Gametrailers (Official vids)
(spec: DX 2.2 rooted with Adfree)

Might be related to the problem I'm having where pages on the BBC with embedded video cause the browser to bomb out (Desire Froyo, non-rooted).

For those who haven't played it yet, Speedx 3d is awesome!

Just tried it out, it's super fun, I suck hardcore though (~840 was the best I could do)

someone needs to make a 3d version of falldown for the old ti-8X calculators.

If only it wasn't $10 a month for the live games. :D

what?

You can't stream regular Sunday season games on Verizon. Only Sunday and Thursday night games. You get NFL Net and Red Zone.

DirecTV's app can stream regular season Sunday games but you gotta cough up $50 if you got a subscription with DirecTV

Wtf, it seems like the default IM app on the Samsung Captivate uses up text messages. I weaned my wife away from texts so we could get off the unlimited plan, and when I checked our account, her text message number is including IM. I'm going to have to install e buddy or the official yahoo app. That's really weird, but heads up to anyone with that phone.

Love flash on the phone, I spent some time watching Delocated while I was waiting for a class to start. Really solid experience with Flash on the Incredible.

There seems to be a security flaw in the latest Flash (including the Android Version).

Anyways, you guys seen this?

Once you download *Spark, it will replace the Home screen on your Android or Symbian phone with one that is elegant, organized, clean, simple and personalized. *Spark will launch with the following modules, which can be turned off or on and rearranged in any order:

Weather
View your current location-aware Weather forecast, wherever you're at with *Spark's location-based Weather module. Add other additional City locations to Weather and watch the forecasts for those places too!

Status Module
Update your Social Status to multiple Social Networks, like Facebook and Twitter, at once. (More Social Networks coming soon)

Headlines
View Live News, Entertainment, Sports, Politics, Opinion and Other News Streams on your phone's Home screen and easily share News links and/or blog about them directly from *Spark via Facebook, Twitter or SMS.

Social Streams
Keep track of the latest Facebook and Twitter updates with *Spark's Social Streams that update every minute to your Home screen.

It's on the Market, so I might give it a whirl (out of curiosity).

Ya I believe ATT does that with most phones. My previous phones I could use the default AIM/MSN messengers without having a data plan because they used it as SMS

Would anyone know why ActiveSync no longer works after updating to Froyo? It worked great on 2.1 but now I receive the "This server requires security features your phone doesn't support" error. The certificate should be the same and it worked before.

Any ideas?

CM6 btw. Not sure if maybe that has something to do with it.

Check your settings on your exchange webmail for things like remote wipe, since Froyo started supporting more security features there might be something in conflict now that wasn't before.

I just had to reset my phone. How do I sync my old apps (free as well) with the now clean phone? Everything has been synced with AppBrain before resetting.

Wild guess, but i think you'll have a new list (apps on droid) or whatever now on appbrain. Copy the apps from the old list to the new one, and they should install.

TexDro has been updated with a Pro-version. What an awesome program.

Texdro is an Android/desktop application which makes it possible to receive a popup window on your computer as your phone receives a text message. You can easily read the message and send back a response to the sender, all from your computer. You can also import all your phone contacts and start a conversation from your computer. Perfect when you're charging your phone, or if you're just feeling lazy!

Texdro consists of two pieces of software. Besides the application on your phone you will also need the desktop application which should be running on your computer.

Features

* Read & answer new text messages directly from your computer.
* Import phone contacts to your computer.
* Also supports Gmail and vCard contact import.
* Remove & edit contacts.
* Conversation views.
* The desktop application is platform independent.
* Network traffic between your phone and computer is highly encrypted.
* Various of customization settings on both sides. And a lot more to come!
* It's completely FREE! However, if you like it, it would be really awesome with a little donation to support the project.

And the Pro-version
To start with, TexdroDesktop PRO includes following features:

* Much more stable connection in general.
* USB Connection
* Bluetooth connection
* Automatic phone discovery over WLAN. You don't need to enter any IP-address anymore. This is great for dynamic IP-addresses or when you use Texdro at multiple locations.
* Tabbed conversations
* Contact photos
* Automatically update download

And more to come! I'm going to update the PRO version with your requests as often I can.

Here's the site

I really recommend it.

Just purchased fruit ninja from the android market this morning. Really fun game, and probably the best game you can get for .99 cents! (never played the iphone/touch version).

Runs well on my nexus one, though I really wish there was a app2sd card option (it's 16.23 megs).
