Angry Joe No Man's Sky review

Having beat the game I don't think the ending is any worse than say Bloodborne. Cool outro and NG+ certainly not as big a deal as people are making it out to be.

Geez, i'm glad i cancelled my pre-order. All the things i wanted to do are being pointed out as lies. I was hoping to pick this up when i get my PSVR but looks like that's no going to happen now.
 
Great review. He was really positive on the game past the hilarious intro. Seeing the repetition and tedium build in the clips as the game slowly eroded his enthusiasm. Then the exposure of the lies in video form and specifics of why the game that was actually delivered fell short. I could do without the extreme yelling but he makes some very salient points here. Good stuff.

It does. And the fact that people are defending it just tells me that for all of the complaining that gamers do about how developers and publishers lie too much and screw them over all the time, they enable it constantly.

People are STILL defending this guy, despite countless lies being exposed. The koolaid must be tasty.

I feel like the first couple of hours with the game are really strong for most players, and Joe really seemed to love those first few hours.

Anyways, great review. Agree that they released this too early.
 
Christ I refreshed after the review was done and the view count with up to 80K with 8K likes. O_O And another thousand just now.

No. I loved the review for that. I've heard enough of the "peoples hype went out of control due to baseless speculation" narrative. The aspect that Joe was touching on needs much more focus than it has at this point.

Yeah I think some are just so disappointed because they see the potential rather than just think its just shit. Considering this is AJ he was far more reasoned than what his character would normal allow him to be. I think he wanted this game to excel...

Exactly. People keep saying it was a case of bad expectations, but tons of the stuff the devs on record said would be in the game or showed in trailers or gameplay footage aren't even in the final product.
 
Why do people always do this in Angry Joe threads? Like is it that hard to stay out of a thread you don't like?
 
Angry joe review are mostly spot on, from what I've seen.

No man sky is the most overhyped bs since journey and flower.
 
I agree with everything Joe said, but my score ends up at 7/10. I guess the lows of the game didn't bother me that much tbh. I can see why people hate it, though.
 
Holy shit Sean Murray straight up lies. What the fuck? This is disgusting. I thought about buying this game in a year or so but I will never give my money to this liar.
