It's snowed a few days in my town, but I haven't found any snowballs to make snow papa, etc. with. Is this normal or am I not looking hard enough? Also, can I do anything with snowflakes that I catch? :3

The snow will start to accumulate this week--that's what those messages on our boards mean. Then you'll begin to find a couple snowballs everyday.
And the snowflakes are given to the Snowmams you build in exchange for pieces of furniture from the Ice series.

How often do villagers change their mind on what to ask Jingle for for Toy Day? First Roscoe says he wants a lamp but now he says he wants a green outfit. I know it's still early and he can always tell me again as it gets closer but I wonder if anyone else will ask for something different after I already got their gifts.

That was my assessment back in June as well. Unless you're looking for a particular exclusive item, I don't see the point.

Villagers will give you two hints about what they want: the type of item plus the color. And they don't change their minds so you might be mixing up Roscoe's request with another villager's. On Toy Day, Jingle will give you a bag full of the requested presents. You just have to match them to the villager so don't worry about buying anything for them.

A few here have met some really cool people from Japan that lead to awesome friendships. That was one of my goals when I first started traveling around. Hasn't happened for me yet however.

I tried adding you on my Wii U a few days ago, Frogstep, but it came back as invalid.
I was actually waiting for winter for it to go on sale, but was impatient and in the meantime made my own. When I actually got the trench jacket, the color of it didn't match the grandpa hat and the two pieces didn't really go together. So I ended up liking what I made better.

It's started to snow in my town. Please tell me snow actually accumulates on the ground during the winter...I've been patiently waiting to see a snow covered town.
Snow from the sky is unrelated to snow on the ground, but the bulletin board mentions that snow is coming so it's probably going to be on the ground tomorrow.

This is what I wanted to hear. So awesome; it will renew my desire to play (getting a little burned out after 185 hours since the release in June).

It's fun that we have to re-add people we're already friends with.
You have to open Miiverse while in the game to post a screenshot. Then you can post the top or bottom screen as a screenshot. I guess it isn't so bad because you can save posts even when offline and have them submitted next time you're online. It just sucks that all the screenshots I already took in-game can't be posted to Miiverse.

I've been so lucky lately with villagers moving. The past three times I've only had one villager I was letting move, and they all asked to go, and today that happened again. I'm only letting Peaches go right now, and she just told me she was moving.
