Some of you guys are really overreacting to some random dude's opinions.

The only thing I really object to is the Saints Row 2 bashing. The guy probably wants to say he hates it because he feels it tried to cash in on the success of his precious GTA4, but realising that cloning does not necessarily a bad game make, he feels compelled to convince himself and his readership that the game is racist; despite the fact that it largely ignores the racial lines down which gang subculture stereotypically divides itself.

Lego's winning line of madcap movie adaptations (Star Wars, Batman) is defining whimsy for the gamepad generation in the same way the Mario Bros. franchise did in the '80s. No game invites the comparison more than Indiana Jones; it is, after all, about a running, jumping adventurer who collects treasure and saves damsels. The difference: Mario had wrenches and overalls; Indy has the whip and fedora. Indy wins.

Let what go? I never defended the game, never even been in the official thread. I played through the game and sometimes it was horrible ( boss battle with that little fucking rat ). But at times it was pretty cool, it was a decent action game, and a pretty good Star Wars game. Aside from the Jedi Knight games, there are barely any good SW games out there anyway.

So why did it suck, please enlighten me. And even after that, it wasn't one of the worst titles of 08.

Wat. There are tons of sucky, shit games that sell 500K+ every year. Just because millions of people played a game doesn't mean it doesn't suck. Millions of people have no discerning taste or are just plain ignorant when it comes to video games.

I'm not talking about TFU specifically, just pointing out that many games that suck sell.

Though I did think it was a bug-ridden pile of trash as a game, I did enjoy the story, art and music.
