Was playing Alien Isolation last night (because of my other thread) with earbuds (because of said thread awell) in the dark. Had my other controller on the bed because it had been charging on the floor under my desk and I had switched battery packs a bit ago.
Had paused the game and glanced over at the controller on the bed and proceeded to jump 5 feet out of my chair.
Them little bugbitches were swarming all over my controller!
Took it to the bathroom, put it in the sink knocked em off n they got washed down the drain. Went to get bug spray and there were more in the sink when I came back! Sprayed around the sink cause they were trying to crawl out and started to take apart my controller to see there were any more.

Lived here for years and barely seen any bugs, but a mini swarm took over my controller last night.

They won last night, shits in the garage now, but is it ruined? I didn't spray any on it, but it was in a little puddle of bug spray in the sink.

Quick tip to kill ants on the spot with a home remedy. Soapy water. Works wonders. I had an ant infestation in my apartment years ago (probably well over 100 ants it was bad), and I took a spray bottle and filled it with water and a little dish soap. On contact they were like dead in their tracks. For future reference of course.

Ants are fine, keep it out in the sun or somewhere bright and hot and they'll migrate out. They're temporary pests that are willing to move.

Just be glad you don't have roaches or bed bugs.

Way to broke a controller , were just ants , when this happens just put the controller outside in the sun they will go out in minutes or put the controller inside a plastic bag and then inside the freezer for 1 minute.

Also is not always related with sugar or food, ants look for close warm places to built a nest.
