Kinda remind me of the time I found ants in my Gameboy as a kid. Ants are cool, at least you didn't find roaches. Just keep it outside in the sun and they'll migrate.

There was this one time when I was a kid, I had a bag of m&ms and I was eating it wondering why it tasted so bitter. It was kinda dark so I didn't see anything on the bag but when I turned the lights on, lo and behold ants were crawling all over the bag...I threw that shit away.

Those are scouts. You probably have a nest somewhere, likely in a wall. Spraying and traps won't do much but slow them down.

I found a Black Widow and a male Widow in my living room last night. This morning another non-widow spider in my home office and you post this. I used to use headphones in my office as recently as an hour ago.

Yeah, I really don't like bugs but ants don't bother me. I find them to be assholes more than anything.
I once had ants in a laptop. Resolved it by following these instructions, except I used a bathtub instead of a tray and forgot to didn't use a spoon. A similar trick should work for an Xbox One controller, or any small/medium-sized object for that matter.
Edit: ^The alcohol cotton ball and ziplock might be more appropriate for a controller though.

This reminds me of the time I was practicing drumming with some earmuffs for hearing protection and I felt something crawling around my ear, took those earmuffs off and found a fucking earwig inside. I freaked the hell out, I always check my headphones and earmuffs now!

I have no idea how this happens, though, unless there's something attracting them to it like food. Leave my controllers lying all over the place and have never seen anything like this.
