I don't expect much showiness or flashiness. I think it'll be more simply getting down the nuts and bolts, sharing the information in a more business-like way. I expect we'll hear what's coming in the box, about online. I think KK will wax lyrical for some time about GT and present it as a poster child for new business opportunities online He'll possibly talk about some further-future concepts that'll be scrutinised more than they should be

I think the show overall, beyond the keynote, will be about making PS3 tangible, and having solid content out there. I'm actually more excited to see Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm, Resistance and the rest of the games out on the showfloor than I am for the keynote.

And no, irfan, I have zero indication of what's coming. But conferences are notoriously hit and miss when it comes to delivering or falling flat..it's too difficult to predict which way this one will go.

I think they're just going to concentrate on talking about launch and PNP stuff. They still have alot about the system that they need to tell us. The conference can't be worse than E3 or the nonexistent July PS3 event. Sony can't hide the PS3 games forever, there'll come the day when they HAVE to show Lair, Kill Zone 2 etc. to us.

Why did Capcom originally set out to make RE:Code Veronica a Dreamcast exclusive, knowing sure and well that their primary fanbase would be going to PS2?

Why did Capcom pull RE4 production from PS2 in '01 in favor of REmake, RE0, and RE4 'exclusives' D) for Nintendo GameCube after what RE1-3 sold on PS1 and the outcry for RE:CV to be released on PS2?

Despite Capcom seemingly trying to spread their RE fanbase out, all that's really happened is bizarre gambles that don't pay off and the end result has been RE games coming back to Sony consoles in full force after a lot of grumbling from fans.


Capcom is notorious for not being a logical company sometimes.
