Considering a sub-$500 PC could play the game at above 720p at 60 FPS (aka, superior to the XB1), and you don't have to pay extra to play online on PC...why?
titanfall is more of a PC game for me even if titanfall 2 comes out for PS4 I would still get it on PC, it's just a PC gaming to me - that and i Like saying PC.
Hmmm.....no one is telling him what to do. OP asked a simple question and wanted to know if anyone else was in the same boat as him, and people responded with what they plan on doing.A lot of gaming hipster in this thread. Get your fedoras out.
OP, if you want to play Titanfall on an Xbox One, you go get yourself one. Don't let society tell you what you want.
I'll get it on PC after EA figures out their servers. Maybe.
Of course! Will it require XBL subscription?
No way, man! You just shove that thing into your temple and you can play it in your mind for $150. Eat it, consoles!

How many tens of thousands exactly? You seem quite confident in saying there will be a significant bump - how large will it be from February to March in your opinion?Plenty of my friends are as will tens of thousands of other people.
I have a PC.
Yep. Ebay'ed towards the end of last year ahead of getting the PS4 at launch.
I don't game on PC, so that's not an option for me. Certainly if I did, I would definitely be picking it up there rather than spending $500 on an Xbox One.
I gotta tell ya, I was expecting some folks to be in the same camp as me. Granted, not a lot in the way or replies yet, but this certainly doesn't bode well for Microsoft.
No, if anything, following the beta made me realize that Titanfall really isn't the colossal gamechanger people pretend it is.

If I was going to buy any system, it would not be to play a 6v6 shooter.
I don't know how you got that from his post, not a gamechanger to..everyone is not actually having fun with the title. Seems like an oversensitive reaction.I never got the sense it was a gamechanger, just that it was supposed to amazing to pay and lots of fun. This is going to turn into the Rock Band meme isn't it? Where people tell other people you're not really having fun with Titanfall, it's just marketing and hype.
"GUYS. GUYS STOP HAVING FUN WITH TITANFALL, IT'S FAKE HYPE!"

I'm not telling people to stop having fun. Stop projecting.
I just expected it to be something special after the near-tangible hype that was surrounding it.
That wasn't the case. Solid shooter perhaps, but I burned out on Call of Duty for good reason and nothing I've seen is pulling me in.
No, just dangerously close to installing Origin.
If you want the XB1 version, you're going to pay $618.89 the first year and then another $59.99 a year after that to continue playing Titanfall through XBL Gold.
If you already have a 3-year-old PC (or even a 4-year-old build), you only need to drop $149 on a new video card and $59.99 on the game itself ($209.98 total) and never have to pay anything else again to play Titanfall. And, oh yea, the PC version will look and play better than the Xbox One version.
