Anyone had issues with PS5 Controller yet?

Mines working perfectly fine. Mostly using it on PC.

And no gamer gunk on it, either. I like to play with clean hands.

It's the best controller i've ever had. I just don't like the PS button, beside that it's top, feel very well and perfectly fine.

Doesn´t charge in the Console, have to use the Phone adapters i have, thankfully they are ultra speed and charge the DS really fast.
I heard that you have to use USB-A not C to charge the controller, alas cannot verify.

I got USB C & UBA TO C high end 10gbs cables.

DS gets stuck at 2 bars since system software was first updated.
I meant that port on the front of the console. But I guess the isssue is somewhere else : )

No, my DualSense is working perfectly.

I'm getting close to 100 hours of gameplay with it and it's just the beginning. As i didn't had any problem with the DualShock 4, i doubt i will have with the DualSense.

Think I am having the same issues with my R2 button on one controller. Playing Spiderman it seem to only register sometimes then take a break and it works again

Yes, loads.

Drift on the left stick, R2 is too sensitive so registers extra inputs and the home button is temperamental. Also don't think the L3 press works flawlessly. And square and X stick.

Love the design but I think I have a dud.

Nope no real issues here, though I wish the R1 and L1 buttons were slightly thinner, easy to hit as well as the triggers but I've accounted for that now

Tonight in Trials Rising the right stick started drifting. In Demons Souls the left stick drifts on occasion. I have no idea what's going on.

For the most part it has worked great. But twice now I went to turn on my PS5 with the controller and it wouldn't. Somehow it lost charge overnight, while it was turned off. So I'd have to turn on the PS5 using the console and charge the controller up. The first time it happened the battery was low before I turned the console off for the night, the second time when it happened I had it plugged in for a few hours the previous day while I was playing so it should have been at least partially charged.

I don't know what's going on but I've got a year to get it replaced so for now I'll deal with it.

The odd thing is though, is that the battery lasts a long time when I'm actually using it, so I don't know why it would be losing charge overnight while it is shut off. I thought it could be syncing issue but it's not, the battery is definitely dead.

I'm not sure I understand? People who don't have problems should report they do?

More like the people who supposedly have no issues with the controller either blame the OP for being careless or they go out of their way for some unexplainable reason to mention faults with the Xbox controller. Their agenda is clear.

Can you confirm charge time? I tried charging it in a Samsung fast charger and it still took 3 hours or more. That's way longer than the DS4

Hello, problem has been fixed now with latest firmware DS patches.

Charging on Ps5 takes around 3h or less i guess, seems faster on Wall Adapter but i´m not sure.

Make sure your USB C Cables are good and not damaged, i had one fucked up cable which ws not charging 1 DS and the other was charging, i thought the Controller was broken and voila it was the cable.

Spring of my right trigger just broke.

I've played for maybe 250-300 hours since launch... with adaptive triggers disabled (I just don't like how it's implemented so far). And no, I am not a brute... I knew about this issue and was extra gentle but it still happened.

Now I wonder if I should send this in to get a replacement which may fail in a few month again, or if I should buy some better quality springs and repair it myself.

Had one desync issue launch day. But since then worked flawlessly. It's a great upgrade over the DS4 IMO. Feels fantastic in the hands. Only complaint is that my thumbs rest a little past the d pad and face buttons and want to sit on the edges of the touch pad or options/create buttons. Very minor issue that is only noticeable in THPS from time to time when I am spazzing out a combo.

No issues yet with my two Dualsense controllers. The only thing I will say is with the color, the slightest hint of dirt shows up very easily. I'm a pretty clean person and I've had still had to clean my controllers once so far.

The battery life is absolutely ridiculous. The charging cable doesn't sit firmly enough in the charging port. My left analogue stick already feels a bit loose, after just a couple of days use. All in all, what you'd expect from Sony hardware.

I got the XBX and my brother got a PS5. That way we'd both be able to play seeing as supplies are so short. Last weekend the spring on his trigger broke. The day before, while I couldn't feel a difference really, he said that the right trigger felt mushy, and was hoping that it wouldn't break.

So I've had my PS5 about a month or so now I've only played like 50 maybe 60 hours max on it but one thing I do notice about the controller is the there's a clicky noise when I push the left analog down (not clicking L3 but pushing it down to be clear)

Working quite well, but I only have about 300 hours of usage, and mostly Ps4 games with no haptic feedback.
No drifting, no draining issue either - so am pretty happy.

I don't know if my controller got broken in or what but it originally had a pretty sticky X button that just sorta went away for the most part.

Battery life only gets you through maybe a decent day or so of gaming but I've got two controllers and the charging station so it's easy to swap out as needed. It's certainly better than the 1.0 version of the DS4 and mostly on par with the PS3.

Had 2 with sticky X button and one with forward drift, but somehow this has all resolved itself. They all work flawless now. Best controller I ever used.

My right trigger spring snapped. Ordered some replacement springs from china but they take 2 months to deliver. My new controller right trigger feels different than the left already and I've barely used it😩.

Yes, got two on release and the "main" one I used more started drifting on left stick last week.

Its subtle at first but somehow gets worse as I play, how badly annoying depends on dead zone size difference between games.
Had drifts on both my dual shocks 4 fixed and I always test on lowest dead zone games, like Ghost of Tsushima.

I'm in the process of getting it replaced on warranty.

My issue was, from what I remember, that it felt too big in my hands.

My R2 Spring snapped but a £2 replacement set of springs on eBay soon had it good as new again. My friend has 3 PS5 controllers and 2 of them had broken R2 springs also. I was able to fix them for him.
