i'm excited. even though iphone 5S is using the new 64 bit processor. it means the new ipad will probably sport at least 4GB of memory.

ha no. Obj-c doesn't require as much memory as Java, (garbage collection vs reference counting) so you likely won't see the memory bulge that has been happening on the android side of things.

Chinese (and other) dictionaries are here:

Do 3rd party apps have the api permission to have animated icons ?

Heck no.

Ever since 6 it's been that way. There hasn't been a podcast tab in the music player since 5 I believe.

No, that only happened if you had the Apple Podcast app installed. If you deleted the Podcast app then Podcasts were put back in the music app where they should be, even on iOS6.

But sadly this has been removed in iOS7. I'm hoping for some awesome new Apple Podcasting app (meaning everyone responsible for the last one has been summarily executed) or Downcast supporting the background download API.

But why not ? It would be awesome to see the weather without opening the app

I can't believe I did not notice this until now but finally after 6 OS's. iOS natively supports GIF instead of trying to treat it like a vine video. On GAF if you go to pics that make you laugh or something similiar which is GIF heavy you will notice the load time is as fast as a web browser on a laptop/desktop now because of this native support. I was gonna make a new topic on this huge thing I noticed but it might not be so big for other folks

GIFs always worked for me in Safari...
