The leaks don't come from within Apple though. They come once the items have been produced and are being moved around. Honestly, do you fucking think they can control the entire supply chain?

It's becoming physically impossible to keep something under wraps while also producing millions of them overseas. Apple itself surely doesn't leak anything.

I was surprised and disappointed by the 5C’s pricing. $100 minimum on contract means an off contract price of around 500 or 550. which is kinda nuts for what it is, imo.

I’m sure this will all do well in subsidized markets but I wonder if Apple will get any greater sales in China, India or parts of Europe with these prices on their plastic phone. It’s not an aggressive move at all to try to get into those places.

It would be nice if there was some LastPass type of system down the line where Safari passwords are tied to this.

On the 5C front, it makes no sense unless it is much cheaper unlocked. Everyone in India buys unlocked phones. And no one is going to spend $100 less and buy a phone that will almost certainly be called the cheapo iPhone.

I'm assuming that the painting process involved in the black iPhone 5 never panned out as they expected. Getting the stainless band and the anodized aluminum to not scuff was troublesome.

Has fingerprint scanner technology moved forward really fast in the last two years? When I worked with them they where not the greatest. Not as bad a voice or facial but still not great in seasonal weather or for anyone that works with their hands for a living.
