This is an outright lie. My two cats smell wonderful and it always amazes me. I think I read once it's because if you wash your clothes or have a nice scent they'll rub up on you so they can smell nice too.

We had a rescue cat that was never taught to clean itself or understood the concept. Regardless he was stinky as fuck. Since then our older car has taught him.

So many people refuse to even do the basic amount of training of their pets. If you dont want them somewhere teach them not to go there.

I do not let my two cats on the counter or in the bedroom. They rarely get full baths, as it's a nightmare. They do however get brushed\combed multiple times a day. The brother loves them so much he will bring the brush and comb to me, then lay down next to them.

If it is very hard to bath your cats I recommend wet wipes for cats. Mine seem to tolerate them much more. Try to get unscented, as mine hated anything with any fragrances in them.

yes i punt my cat clear across the room, i was not exaggerating in any way, i actually kick field goals with my cat. who i hate, as seen by me sporting an avatar of him for years.

as for the cleanliness thing, pregnant women are warned like fuck never to go near the litter box, that combined with my cat generally not licking his asshole immediately after a shit makes me think ‘not that clean’
