Both the controllers I ordered have now completed the "packaged item" checkpoint. I was genuinely convinced they would've been cancelled with the errors, but I am more excited, genuinely, I get to surprise a family member with 1 because they were unable to order any and have been so excited since it was revealed (they loved the first Steam Controller too).

I think the onus should be on suppliers to combat scalpers, like how Sony handled PS5. Trying to fight the principle of supply and demand is a fools errand.

People will always have the right to buy a thing for one price, and resell it for another price. You can't outlaw market dynamics.

Yep, same here. I'm hoping maybe there's some hope that I get it Friday since I have a long weekend. Steam shipping is usually extremely quick for me. Both of my Decks came next day once they showed as shipped.

After watching some videos It makes a viable alternative to the mouse and keyboard, obviously its nice to have a keyboard and mouse, but sometimes you just wanna relax, and you end up using the mouse with on screen keyboard, and that's slow, controller is better at that point, yes im lazy. I blame my wife, I never knew about onscreen keyboard till she told me lol, glad I never touched it growing up, but now i see the appeal.

Until some other company makes touchpads worth a damn on a controller that alleviate pain points for PC on the couch, then it will literally be special for just that alone.
