Are you getting Watch Dogs: Legion?

No, they tried to dazzle everyone with the 'play as anyone' tagline, and it's because of this that the game will lack creative focus and feel soulless. Mechanically the franchise hasn't evolved at all, but hey that's Ubi's quality assurance for ya.

It's a shame, not often do we get games featuring London as a setting.

Yes probably. I was going to order it from Amazon but they aren't doing release-day delivery. It wouldn't show up until Monday the 2nd.
 
Yes, but only because it's bundled with my graphics card. Otherwise, no. Based on videos, the game looks and plays like something Ubisoft could've released years ago.

You guys put too much weight on scores. I know my own taste in games and I know how Ubisoft like design majority of their games, this can get 10/10 a cross the board and still wouldn't buy it.
 
i was going to get it at launch because I enjoyed the last two gameplay, but after watching the videos... i dont even know if its the same type game now... lol.

i will hold off until at least black friday time. could be $30 someplace.

First one was pretty good, second was fucking shit, with a bunch of insufferable bell ends as the main characters. I had been playing it up until this afternoon but I'm done with it, I can't even be bothered to finish it.

Edit: No, I won't be getting legion. I'll wait for the inevitable games with gold in a year or so.

When its $20 at most. Ubisoft makes trash games now. I like Clint Hocking's previous games the game play video does not look fun.

Nah. To me, the vast majority of Ubisoft games are soulless, design-by-numbers experiences with uninteresting stories and rote gameplay. It's the videogame equivalent of empty calories.
 
I enjoyed the 1st one, but would have preferred that they improved upon that instead of changing everything as they did with 2. Never bothered buying the 2nd game.

This seems worse, since there's no fix protagonist and seems you play with NPCs.

Would play if it gets into Game Pass, otherwise, I won't really bother.

i am leaning valhalla because visuals are better and more colorful but i prefer watch dogs 2 to every other assassin's creed game lol just dobt like the look of this recruiting system on legion
 
Yeah, definitely. Watch Dogs 2's biggest strength was how far they took hacking compared to the original game.

I can't wait to just jump into the sandbox and mess around with all the tools they're giving us.

I normally look for a good story in games I play but clearly, with no central character, that is not the focus, and based on what I have seen so far, I'm 100% okay with it and I'm glad they delayed it several times for it to be in the position it is in now.
 
Waiting for reviews , then waiting for sales. Played both previous games and it's an okay series. Major burnout on Ubisoft though since Far Cry 4

If Watchdogs Legion were about doing actual good in the world it would take place in China and you would be freeing Hong Kong from CCP tyranny along with concentration camps in Xinjiang.

Definitely. Quite looking forward to it. I'm just not sure if I'll pick it up Friday and play on One X, or wait until the Series X. I'm leaning towards Friday, but it depends on whether or not I get into something beforehand or not.

They could have set it in China. Its literally one of if not the biggest human rights abuse going on right now.

Unless Brexit is somehow worse and more deserving of a resistance then rounding up entire regions into concentration camps.

I actually really enjoyed last 2 Watchdogs games. This one however it almost seems like its not even that advertized. Yes I've seen gameplay etc but I didn't even know its already coming out. WD2 looked beautiful, this to me doesn't really, a bit outdated so ill def wait for a sale or used copy as this is one of those games that drops price very fast.
 
I didnt play the previous WDs, and also I've already bought plenty of games for the day one Series X day (AC:V, Dirt 5, Cyberpunk)
 
I did actually buy both of the previous games used for dirt cheap, enjoyed the first never got around to the second. I have not once thought that this new one looked interesting at all, it's so weird to read people actually excited for this.
 
i might later, when it's on sale, i never finished the previous 2 games, the WD games didn't hold my attention for long and i never got that GTA type feeling from them either, i much prefer the AC games, i'm playing Valhalla day 1.

Miles Morales is soon.
And then after that, Cyberpunk.
I may do SP Call of Duty Cold War as a refresher in between.
But that should keep me well until 2021.
