Ashen - E3 2017 Gameplay Trailer

Will this be available on PC ? It says "console launch exclusive"

Anyway I don't like the comparisons game, this has some unique atmosphere with interesting lighting/photography work.

Looks like 2019 at best haha

I was just thinking about all the vaporware that was shown in 2015, glad to see this one is real

When it first debuted there was only a very small team working on the game. Since then, with a publisher behind them and having built a full studio, they have a lot more momentum and are making lots of progress.

I have been lucky enough to interview these chaps 3-4 times for this game and I have to say I am floored by the jump in quality. And I was very excited already

Do you have a video?

Did they mention anything on the scale of the game? Like, is there a focus on open exploration? Or is it more souls corridor like?

Are you allowed to say?

Nice to see Ashen again. It's been several years since it was first shown. Didn't see a release date, though. Did anyone see?

so dusty...this game needs lotion...lol anyway....I need to see actual gameplay to sway me. :D

Seems it will be souls multiplayer (crap imo) style
I 'm still looking for a souls game where you can easily play (and progress) with your friend (without doing each area 2 times and not play togther somewhere certain conditions are met)
Also liking help (with coop or advice) must not mean you are opened to be invaded by pvp build or overleveled player....
this kind of game need an pvp / pve character flag imo.

I thought it looked great - glad to see it's coming to PS4, as I will eventually pick it up.

"Console launch exclusive," so timed exclusive. Strange, as I thought Microsoft had locked its exclusivity down with Cuphead a couple years ago.

It definitely was full exclusive for a time - my guess would be that it hit development issues and MS pulled funding, and Annapurna agreed to publish it on the proviso that it was only a timed exclusive. Similar to what they did with Edith Finch, I guess, although going by the UK IPO Sony still appears to own the trademark on that one so I'd guess it's not coming to Xbone.

What irks me is the lack of weight the characters possess, the feet seem to just float across the surface. Otherwise it looks fantastic visually.
