This may have led to selection for lightly pigmented skin. Scientists have identified at least 100 genes associated with pigment processing. Though African populations are relatively dark, according to a recent study[citation needed] they possess a greater diversity in skin complexion than all other populations. It is therefore likely that many of the alleles associated with light pigmentation were already present in an ancestral population in Africa prior to their dispersal. When humans migrated out of Africa, the lighter skin causing alleles may have accumulated in one population, either by genetic drift, natural selection, sexual selection or a combination of these effects. Since their effects are additive it is possible light skin could arise over several generations without any new mutations taking place.

According to Luigi Luca Cavalli-Sforza, light skin probably arose in North Africa or both in the north and east.

A 2006 study provides evidence that the light skin pigmentation observed in Europeans and East Asians arose independently. They concluded that light pigmentation in Europeans is at least partially due to the effects of positive directional and/or sexual selection.

No kidding. It's on video; I'd like to think even if he's lazy, he's smart enough not to hit her on camera. But to be a fly on the wall after the camera was off... And yeah, I agree on her being stupid for staying with a lazy piece of crap. He's probably a complete dick, too. Chicks like her seem to be into guys with no ambition and no respect for women.

...but I agree the vid is probably fake. He probably just wanted to be able to post a video of his girlfriend to make him feel better for being a loser. "Hey, I contribute nothing to society, but at least I have a hot girlfriend!"
 
I think the vid was fake cause he reacted to quickly to her smashing the PS3 before she even smashed it. Also he was doing what most actors who have never played a video game do, press every single fucking button at the same time in every what direction.

I'm surprised that some people still think this is real. All you have to do is look through his youtube and myspace page to know the video is likely fake (at the very least the unemployment part.)
