There's a mod on pc that makes it better but not great
Fun fact, originally the game used to have better LODs but Ubisoft made it much worse after a few patches
They also promised tessellation patch...

LoL Bloodborne is a Sony owned IP.... shillUbisoft patches Ubisoft games.
You should ask Fromsoftware why Bloodborne rots in shitty performance land. Sony is not responsible for your flawed logic.
This one youtuber says it's 900p60fps even though patch notes says 4K 60fps.
I think only From can do an official patch for Bloodborne.LoL Bloodborne is a Sony owned IP.... shill
Sony was pitching remakes so I dont think a simple remaster by Nixxes is completely out of a question.. be it as it may , its a Sony IP therefore I wont transfer blame. Others can do it at their will.I think only From can do an official patch for Bloodborne.

Someone do some pixel counting.

Yea because no one could run it at launch, they had to downgrade lolThere's a mod on pc that makes it better but not great

This patch apparently only increases Series S resolution to 972p.
Probably very bandwidth-intensive, owing to the unique nature of the engine.lol, that's weird. should easily reach 1440p in theory.
Some actual thought this is 900p

Why are you so convinced it's FXAA on ps4? Because looking at the way how clean up the jaggies not seems absolutely the case. Ubisoft never used FXAA on ps4 from my memory. It used FXAA in PS4 and PC versions. TAA wasn't common back then.
Origins was first AC game with TAA.

You are wrong. If you gonto replay you can see pattern of TAA on ps4. FXAA doesn't work like this.
You should stop to give so much credit to DF. Knowing them they weren't aware what TAA was at the time. FXAA not work like that.

What evidence they provide them? FXAA not solve aliasing very well. It's barely a smudge of contrast in the jaggies. And you provide what evidence exactly?
What evidence they provide them?
But there was ghosting. You are claiming it's TAA. Despite it looking like FXAA to DF and PC version having FXAA.
You can easily see that something is not using TAA - there is no ghosting.
AC Syndicate in 2015 also didn't have TAA, it appeared in Origins in 2017.
But there was ghosting.
And pictures to show it?
Well at least that Skull & Bones tech won't be a complete wasteI wish they would do this with black flag but I know they are putting together a (probably shitty) remake
The only AC game where VRR work properly it's AC Shadows, before that, VRR never worked properly on ps5 from my personal experience. I ignore the reason though. Try to disable the ps4 enhanced resolution if it's activated; in AC Syndicate solve a similar issue in fps after the patch.Just want to confirm: not only is it 60fps and 4K, the cloth physics are also at 60fps, AND they fixed the cloth physics glitch from the PC version! On PC, as the framerate goes above 30fps, the cloth physics wigged out - I think the calculations were running faster than they should or something, and so the cloth wouldn't move right: it'd stick to you weirdly. There is a mod to fix it on PC, but back when I played it that didn't exist. So happy to finally watch my coattails swish the way they were meant to.
I do notice some stuttering/frame drops on PS5 Pro, which is disappointing, but also the VRR doesn't seem to be working. Does anyone else have that problem? Or rather, does VRR work correctly for anyone in BC PS4 games like this?
Happy now? In any case if you have a training eye it's quite visible it uses TAA. FXAA is a cheap and horrid solution of ps360 era which barely worked just in some edges.
- Temporal AA (TAA): Starting around Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and heavily in Unity, Ubisoft adopted a custom form of temporal AA on PS4 and Xbox One to improve image stability. AC Origins and Valhalla also rely on TAA, with some users noting its blurring effects.
Yes on pc. But TAA started with AC Flag on ps4 and you see the infamous ghosting pattern in the cables of the vessel. Hardly AI is wrong about this stuff. He just extrapolate such data from the Web his AI "elaboration" is very limited fortunately. Anyway I repeat to you TAA it's very visible and not that tough to spot if you own the game on ps5.Is this Ai answer? Ai is often very wrong about obscure stuff like that.
ACU is using TXAA on PC.

TXAA was nvidia exclusive and SMAA it's not too far off to FXAA. I don't understand why you persist to say on ps4 it's not TAA though. If I'm not wrong Ubisoft released an interview where said to have create an alternative to TXAA on console, the TAA and it was just in time for the ps4 launch of AC Black Flag but I can't find any link about this.SMAA could have temporal element in it, but no FXAA. Even DF mentioned SMAA in Black Flag and FXAA in Unity.
Edit: Ai fight!

It thinks that consoles are using TXAA...

I suspect the real reason of this strange obstinacy it's just because I contradict DF. Anyway can be simply DF wasn't aware of TAA existence at the time and they extrapolated only the custom AA knew on console. There is no proof that it is.
I'm sure it's not TAA. TAA on consoles started appearing in 2016 (Doom, UC4). Both Unity and Syndicate even more were jagfests. I remember this clearly because I was a bit jealous that the pc version had nvidia's TAA solution as I can't stand jaggies. So I also think Unity might used FXAA, but not TAA, I'm 100% sure of that.If I'm not wrong Ubisoft released an interview where said to have create an alternative to TXAA on console, the TAA and it was just in time for the ps4 launch of AC Black Flag but I can't find any link about this.
