BOM is predicting $214.7 million on OW for Batman, which will be the biggest OW ever. The $214.7 million includes Thursady's midnight showing.

Does everyone agree that TA will be relatively strong on Saturday and Sunday than DKR? By that I mean DKR could have bigger Saturday and Sunday numbers but I think TA Saturday and Sunday will be a greater percentage of its take based on it being a more family friendly movie.

This is what I'm thinking. I originally had TDKR beating Avengers by $100 mil but I think it will end up the other way around. Probably closer.

I don't think it is at all a given yet. The Avengers only made $18.7M in midnight numbers but motored on through the rest of the weekend to get to $207M. The early BO reports for the Avengers pegged its take at $150M and the estimates continued to rise all the way through the announcement of the official number on Monday.

I don't know about that. I wouldn't look on WB negative for reporting box office returns. As horrible as the situation is in Denver, I don't think they are going to stop the entire marketing machine on this film. Box office press announcements are part of that machine.

Either way, I'm curious to see how they handle it.
