What is Ironmode?

In mono mode atleast, you can't "spread your fins" or whatever they call it (left clickin to grab notes in 3 rows at once) and you can't destroy grey blocks, instead they deteriorate slowly.

Basically its supposed to be harder.

This battle between Sciz and Nabs makes me enjoy this game so much more. Competitive scoreboards are the best thing you can have in a game.

Seriously guys.

A Murder of One by The Counting Crows. Get on it. Best song so far for me.

Across The Sea by Weezer is also awesome.

you bastards took mmm bop from me during my sleep?? :(

and yeah ninja mono does seem less fun as compared to the beta.

but how do you "destroy" gray blocks? i thought you just let them deteriorate

on ninja mono with the left mouse click...

this game is so very addicting.

Some variations of Mono let you right click to shuriken all of your greys at a cost of 777 points. On those versions, the greys don't deteriorate.

The Dragon Gave a Loud Scream off the NiGHTS soundtrack is insane. On Ironmode Elite characters, it reaches 400 traffic congestion, and it's well into the 300s even on casual characters. Way over 30000 PPM, for those still trying to get it.

I just did that song and there was no one else on the leaderboard. The band name is Counting Crows, not The Counting Crows.

Awww... you guys should have bumped this topic more so I would have noticed it and save $1...

Oh who am I kidding *buys*

*downloading*

i only ever play Mono Pro. left click is fins and right click is jump

guess i can't destroy gray blocks in that one?

oh, and did you guys notice if you click and hold the scroll wheel you can look around in 3d from your current position?

Damn..

Guns N' Roses - Paradise City was a blast to play through!

Any tips on higher scores, I seem to usually be the lowest ranked in my country (The Netherlands).. That is, ofcourse, when I'm not playing some strange indie song, so that I'm #1 worldwide.:D

in ninja mono: left click - fins, right click - destroy blocks, spacebar - jump

Wait, you get mutipliers for clicking 'next song'?

No just on the track. I have gone through all different song lengths, and the multi and big kahuna achievement still hide from me, this game hates me.

I'mma noob. How do you make your multiplier go up ^^

It's an icon that sometimes appears on the track, i think it gives u a random multiplier, not sure how you actually increase it, thats if you even can. I just want the damn thing to appear, so i can get the last achievement.

Oh ffs, was 30 seconds or so away from clearing Paranoind Android on Ninja Mono without hitting a grey brick when I hit one.

What's the quality difference between Normal, Enhanced, and Premium? I downgraded to Normal, see no differences, and I get 30 more FPS.

What app did you use to capture it?
Fraps with a little bit of VirtualDUB

Captured at 1280*720 @ 60fps but Divx hates that framerate+resolution combo, for some reason (it basically adds a frameskip of 1 to the vid >_<)

Sorry for the tech babble post what what would it take to get Stage6 to accept this vid?

The file itself is ~530MB and runs at 60fps, looks crisp and clean. The file DivX's converters pumps out run at 30fps, is 401MB, and look muddy and compressed to hell, plus have that awful frameskip that I mentioned.

Just tried this one. Awesome song and track (loved the part with the corkscrew).

Even made it to the top :D

Damn... Under 300 pts from the top on Across the Sea. But I know that some Pusher(Nabs) is just gonna take it away from us hard working Ninjas :(

For my Stage6 videos I take the FRAPS'd footage into Virtualdub (I've taken to recording @ 858x480 (16:9 480p, basically) for framerate + filesize reasons) then encoding it to HuffyUV. Then the DivX converter will take the HuffyUV and let me re-encode to a decent looking DivX for Stage6 consumption. I've been trying to shoot for ~15MB per minute of footage (works out to roughy 1024 -> 1536kpbs) - otherwise streaming is too slow on Stage6.

No matter what, though, my DivX's look super macro-blocked to crap, especially when compared to the similar filesize/bitrate WMVs I've made using the same source data :(
