I think the developer said that corkscrews happen whenever a new instruments come into the song or something like that.
 
I've found that using (A)SD(F) instead of the mouse or arrow keys makes precision movement much, much easier. S shifts you to the left lane, D shifts you to the right, A shifts you to the left shoulder, F shifts you to the right shoulder, and when you let go of a key you snap back to the middle lane automatically. I tended to overcompensate a lot when I used the mouse.

I use arrows, because I'm a dirty console heathen who doesn't "get" the whole wasd thing. But yeah I'm hopeless at this with a mouse.

Sasha - Xpander (Wipeout 3 Version) is so much fun in Ninja Mono, like a mix of AudioSurf and Wipeout itself. :D

... but just as I rank first on a small leaderboard of my own Teknopathetic comes and takes it away from me. If only I could get better at consistently hitting clean finishes. :(
 
Pendulum - Blood Sugar is so awesome in this game. I also like the more orthodox songs, like the Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu openings. Very happy-poppy song, but the track is all the harder for it.

I spent about 3 hours straight playing this as soon as I woke up. I had to play the shit on my girlfriend's laptop, but it makes me so happy to see myself in the leaderboard for any song, even if it is shit.

I tried playing Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, I think I was about half the score of the others in this thread. It's embarrassing. I can't play on expert outside of mono, I'm sticking to Medium Eraser at the minute.

And I'm not telling you guys the songs I'm using. They need to stay obscure enough so I'll be #1 forever.
 
This thread is making me want to buy out new music to try on Audiosurf. Oh yeah, what's the wrong song/music you guys have tried out?

I put the track numbers in all of my organized music tags. It seems that I'm the only one that does this, therefore -- I'm pretty much #1 in all of my rankings. :lol
