Probably worth a quick mosey if you're nearby your local, likely been heavily picked through at most locations, but I was able to get Deception, Dragon Crown and XCOM.

They wouldn't honour pre-owned games for some bizarre reason.

went to JB today, they didnt have many left. What was left was shit. Holmesglen JB by the way.


Still a bargain though.


Speaking of JB, they had Dragon quest heroes (PS4) for $59.
Kingdom hearts 2 HD (whatever the subtitles called) for $20.

Also EB games actually have some decent sales going on.

Brand new copy of DBZ Budokai HD for $12.
I think i saw watchdogs for $18 (Ps4)

so aside from shopto ( not much good at all) zavvi/hut( some times okey) base.com ( has good clearance sales ) ozgame/365 ( some times better then local has good promos)

wondering what other options there are, given that local shops are only good for price matching on release for the most part

also are there any zavvi/hut deals worth keeping an eye on gaming or blu ray wise ?

Target are selling Rainbow Six Siege at really reduced prices starting today. PS4 is $24, XB1 $39. PS4 is sold out online but probably still worth calling your local store to check stock. Can confirm my local EB refused to price match a new copy, though they offered to sell a pre-owned copy for $20.

Amazing deal, I've bought this game a few different times and it's absolutely worth it. Probably one of the best deals I've seen in ages, I audibly gasped when I saw it. Everyone get in on this if you can! Game's amazing.

I've always wondered about those claims, I'm guessing EB's new copies were up in the $80 range. Kinda dodgy offering the pre-owned to match a brand new one.

well you could try one of the many forums that i have so far had no success with , retro collect, digtalpress, nintendo age and all there linked sites, racketboy, there used to be one called NTSC trading not sure what it changed its name to( and quite a few more) , theres also a buy sell or trade forum on here irc not sure what the requirements are for using that thread or accessing said forum again, theres also at least one CEX store located in each state


im also in the market for games depending on what they are and how much they cost.


any who how dos everyone feel about ozgamers point system ? a few offers come up from time to time eg earn xyz when you buy this or get 10% off with this code save up yxz amount eg guessing theres not much point in posting it here if theres no product attached to it ?

Twilight Princess HD is $68 at Big W (comes with the Wolf Link amiibo). On the website it says it's more, but in store it is $68.

just a reminder, this deal went live today.

Had a bit of trouble at JB. They suggested Target is clearing all their gaming stock, so it doesnt count, even though its fucking advertised in their catalogue. Apparently Target is "leaving the gaming business".

So... i went straight to Harvey Norman and they price matched no problem.

Seems EBgames will have 1TB Xbox One + Halo 5/Gears/Ori/Rare Replay for $328 on the 29th/30th of June. Not sure if it's in-store only.

Target are doing it for $299 but with different games. These days with future MS games coming to PC you have to ask whether it is better just putting that money towards a gaming PC.

I think the Target one doesn't have Halo, but comes out as the same price if you buy it separately.

I'll be saving mine for a new RX480, but some may prefer having the console.

a lot of the good things will say in stock online but once you get to processing it they are gone, they don't hold the stock over when you are processing your payment either so you have to be quick when doing it, lost about 10 items going in and out of processing, mostly 3ds or Wii U games that were dirt cheap (pokemons, Game and Wario) but also PS4 games.

Got in real early with the sale too so there probably isn't too many worthy things left

Don't bet on it. A lot of uber collector's editions are only made to gouge hardcore fans and the contents are actually garbage. There are a few amazing ones that may be worth the original asking price, but those don't come often.
