Bad movies you love?

I second the Judge Dredd nom, watch that movie every time it's on. Stallone's facial contortions are worth the price of admission.

EDIT: Big Trouble in Little China is a good movie, that's why it hasn't been mentioned.

Fern Gully. Reminds me of simpler times, when environmental debates were about battling an evil sludge and the good guys didn't have to be big, they just had to care.

Although I really don't see what's bad about it. I think people saw George Lucas's name on the poster and instantly expected the next Star Wars. It's a great comedy still hillarious to this day. Some great lines in there too and some cool special effects with the villian at the end.

and I think there is some confusion over what a "bad" movie is. Last time I checked "Big Trouble in Little China", "Face/Off", "Starship Troopers", and "Clerks" were considered GREAT movies. Just because some of those films are slightly dated now or had lower budgets doesnt qualify them as bad movies. Bad means a movie that the genral consensus agrees was a bad movie and you always see it ridiculed in pop culture.

Sad to see all my favorite movies already in this thread:

Escape from LA - Brilliant movie
Red Dawn
Buckaroo Banzai - Laugh awhile you can monkey boy!
Fifth Element - Luc Besson and Willis in the future completely full of win
Big Trouble in Little China - same writer as Buckaroo Banzai, also full of win
UHF - great movie
Tango and Cash - Kurt and Sly... honestly doesn't need a script at all to be amazing
Punisher: War Zone - again another great movie

With the way this thread is going, someone is going to put Army of Darkness up next - before you do, go back to watching Titanic or something, cause that's a film I'll never be able to sit through.

I think we can all agree this was generally considered bad. All I have to say is "space herpes"(fyi it's not that rodent popping out of the ground on the bottom).

i actually rented this film about 4 times, could have bought the fucking thing with the amount i spent renting:lol

But seriously this is a great film, tongue in cheek where it needs to be and awesome everywhere else.

Freddy Got Fingered and Batman Forever. Best comedy ever and best super hero movie ever.

Everybody I know irl like them too, but imdb says they both suck, so they are perfect answers here.

Tom jacking of an elephant single handedly gives Freddy Got Fingered the greatest film of all time title in my book.

I have to admit, the first 3/4 of this movie is fucking hilarious.

The last bit (which they've admitted in interviews and commentary was not written when filming started and even throughout filming they still didn't have an ending) was shit.

popcorn plaaaayaaaa

Quite possibly the best bad movie ever made. An absolute MUST HAVE on bluray if you don't own it already (the PQ is outstanding)

but a HD version of it would be nice :D

The brides of Dracula still annoy me, but outside of that I think its a fun monster mashup movie.

It definitely reeks of a studio's attempt to mash Sorbo's Hercules with Conan. Otherwise it does a solid job of delivering on cheesy fantasy action.
