I don't really care much for Queen either. I appreciate that they're a good band and that Freddie is amazing, but my ex LOVED them and I only ever found them okay so that meant they had to get played all the time and it just got old.

The Station nightclub fire
There's a horrific video of it. There's a part where the camera man goes to the back of the club where the doors are locked and you can hear people inside screaming, also a part where so many people have tried to get out the front entrance they are piled floor to ceiling, and the fire engulfs them all.

Deftones have become one of my favourite bands. I first saw them in '03 and they weren't very good, nor did I like their music much, but it grew on me a lot.
I've seen them a couple of times since and they were much better.

I used to not mind them growing up, but something happened in the late '90s where everytime I heard a song by the Eagles I just wanted to change the station.
There is stuff that I've heard that I wasn't aware it was them and asked my friend to change the album and then he made me aware it was the Eagles. Can't think of another band that immediately makes me want to stop listening to the radio.
