I think this is the only one I didn't do in the original game. I got all the notes.
I am going to LOVE playing this game again. I havn't played it for a few years not because I couldn't stand the frame rate and it looks crap on my TV.

I think you just hit banjokazooie, but I'm not entirely sure. I know that is where you put cheats in, at least.

I'm dying to play a platformer and I missed this one on N64. I do believe I will be picking it up sometime soon.
I've heard two seperate accounts of it being impossible to get all 100 notes in Mad Monster Mansion. Verified with several note location guides, too. :/
Just called my local GameStop to see if the codes were in, and they are!
However, they said they are running low and I should come in ASAP. How the fuck do they not get enough codes to cover their pre-orders is beyond me? Wasn't that the whole point of them handing out codes? I'm guessing employees snagged a couple that were supposed to go to people like me. Of course, I've got one set aside, but someone's probably gonna get shafted.

I played through Mumbo's Mountain last night and it's great.
In addition to the other improvements, I don't think anyone's mentioned that it's in full surround sound now as well. I didn't check to see if it was DD5.1 but it definitely features full 360 sound placement.

Supposedly, the game now saves what notes you collect each time you play and makes it so that you only need to collect the ones still remaining (Ala Banjo Tooie)

I'm not positive, but I *think* Banjo-Kazooie might be the last game I ever beat 100%. ALL jiggies, ALL Jinjos, ALL Mumbo Tokens, ALL honeycomb pieces, and (most importantly), ALL music notes.
Some of those music note challenges were brutal, since you had to get all 100 in one life. The rusted ship level was especially tough. There would be several bunches of 3-5 notes in hard-to-reach places, so the 100 note challenge on that level was basically a challenge to go through all the hardest parts of the level, error-free.

Indeed! Nuts and Bolts is downright stunning. I wish more of the big HD games were this colorful and fun to look at. Really going to be exciting next generation when Nintendo finally brings their art styles to the higher resolutions.

Heh, I popped in to a Gamestop on Saturday, asked if they had the codes, and got one while placing my pre-order. I feel bad for you guys about it, but I'm contemplating going back and canceling my preorder.

Ordered from Amazon a while back and still don't have my code. The Fable 2 Pub Games code came super fast though.
