To a degree. Penguin didn't return to Gotham until a couple weeks before Origins. His first big move was trying to kill Black Mask. Batman wouldn't have any reason to investigate him until that point.

I wouldn't mind if they got rid of a few of the challenge room achievements. Those got old real fast, considering new ones were added with every bit of dlc.

Being a big fan of the series I generally agree with these sentiments, but it also has the most boring world, wonkiest combat, and is the worst running game in the series.
Im actually playing back through it on PS3 and the open world frame rate is horrible, I dont remember it being this bad.
This and the BioShock collection will never be officially announced.
Only when EA announcs the Mass Effect Trilogy HD set.

I would hope/imagine that the performance would be something they would fix in a remaster.
Maybe even fix the unlock tree where you could only do one of the tasks in 3 rooms in the entire game or perhaps let you do it in the challenge mode.

Because screw us. We are good enough to buy it as a Arkham game when it comes out but if they are gonna make a collection it isnt a real Arkham game anymore.
They ignoring Origins now is big middle finger to all fans. I give a shit what Rocksteady thinks as their "Trilogy". Its a Arkham game so put it in WB.

I kinda checked out at Arkham City, which was only confirmed when I just couldn't get into Arkham Knight after skipping Origins.

I feel like the idea of Remasters loses momentum once the console generation is really in full swing. Because at this point, I have more current-gen games that I want to play than I have time; my interest in re-buying a 7-year-old game is therefore waning.

I was thinking earlier, perhaps the reason they are not including Origins is because the game was still left with some game breaking issues (http://www.gamespot.com/articles/ba...-fix-several-game-breaking-bugs/1100-6417619/) and don't feel like paying to have those fixed / deal with people encountering these bugs.

To this day I think Reggie was told it wasn't Arkham Asylum and got into his head that it was a new game that wasn't on other consoles yet or something. It was such a strange thing to say, otherwise.
Cmon WB, just announce it already. It shouldn't be some big mystery.

This and the Bioshock collection should have been announced by now, at this stage they won't be announced till E3. That said I will get this for Asylum but it's a shame Origins isn't included, outside of performance issues I feel it was a fantastic game.

If thats the case then its probably so they can pull a dishonoured, where by they will announce a new game in each respective franchise and then be like if you'll can't wait pick these up instead.

I assume it'll just be port of the PC version essentially. Still, means that PS4/XB1 owners can have a good Batman game on the system.
Literally the only remastered series I care about, which could only be made possible by the one game company that isn't interested in releasing remastered.

It allegedly leaked in a magazine, but obvs can't post it here. Cover looks legit too. It's basicly a playing card with AC bats at the top and AA bats at the bottom.
Christ just announce the collection already. Stop dragging it WB. I won't be buying this since there's no Arkham Origins in it. It's part of the series. Rocksteady like it. It's not even a collection anyway. It's missing one of THE best games in the series along with it's DLC ffs. No Origins, no buy. Even though I want to return to the Asylum, I've still got the original game on PS3 for that and that's enough for me.

Exactly! Doesn't feel right. Neither does the whole collection IMO. Doesn't feel like we need it just yet. Feels exactly like WB just want a quick buck and are desperate to release something now that (Rocksteady's) Arkham series has ended. I have no doubt we'll get another game from WB though, hopefully the skwad and Origins 2. Don't buy that superman rumor though. Never have.
