This Bat suit is straight up godlike.

Got tickets, at the Omni IMAX at the local museum though, it's the closest to me, like 15 minutes away. Don't know if i'm busy that day and will be able to make it to it, but eh i said why not, just in case.

Got a ticket, but it says they are overbooking...

Am I really about to go like 2 hours early for a trailer?
Yes, yes I am.

I don't know how crazy it'll be compared to say a premiere where you're seeing a full movie for free because it's the members of the press showing or whatever. Those you usually need to be there crazy early, we were 4 hours early for the last Xmen movie.

Was sorta bummed I was too late to get passes, but if they're overbooking, screw it. I don't have time to line up for a free viewing of a trailer.

Which theater were you looking at?

It really depends
In my experience, which is sadly a lot, usually 90 mins is a decent enough time. And only on line for like an hour

Except if it's a movie with massive amount of buzz and limited screenings. Like this is an one time only thing

The shot is in the 2nd Official Trailer but not actually in the film itself.

Are you sure? I could have sworn Jor-El reveals it to him and it was the last shot you see before Kal emerges from the fortress in the suit for the first time.

Wait...the trailer won't be available online??? WB pls.
The trailer will be in front of other films and online. The screening is to experience it in IMAX(ish) and for the other 13 minutes of the presentation and the atmosphere of others willing to go out of their way to enjoy this.

Honestly, you'll probably get a purer experience in front of another film or online, but you won't get that crowd hype after Snyder preaching from the pulpit for 10 minutes. Expect a noisy and excited crowd.

Well got tickets. I'm kinda hyped, wasn't a huge fan of MoS but I can't not watch this. I'm also hoping we get a free poster or something for going to the see the trailer.

Yep, popped it in to double check.

Makes me wonder what other unused footage may see some mileage in BvS.

"The theatre is overbooked to assure a full house. Theatre is not responsible for overbooking. This pass does not guarantee seating and must be surrendered on demand."

What a load of horse shit. Are you telling me that I might go to the trouble of driving across town to watch a trailer and be turned away from the theatre? I'm supposed to show up hours in advance to watch a 2 minute long commercial for a movie?

Yo that batsuit looks so good

Hopefully he can move his neck tho

I wouldn't worry about that, here's what the costume designer for the film said.

Wilkinson said that "it’s a very important thing to Zack that the Batsuit would be comfortable and very flexible, but then would be able to perform in a very natural and forceful way. So a lot of incredible engineering went into the development of the new black cowl".

They had one location in Canada (Cineplex Cinemas Yonge Dundas & VIP). Tickets went really fast and they pulled the location off the menu.

They should have planned this a little earlier in advance. First off, the Yonge and Dundas theatre is not even the full blown 70mm IMAX. If they were going to play them on digital, then they may have well offered the other two IMAX screens in/near the city (which are both full-sized). Sounds like the presentation is only 15 minutes in length, I almost can't believe they just didn't slip it between the Furious 7 screenings; I mean, Fox reserved all of the IMAX screens for their "Avatar Day" which showed 25 minutes of footage (with an intro, plus a trailer at the end), which definitely cost more.

Three real IMAX screens in the GTA and they chose LieMAX.

Batsuit looks insane in film form.

The music hits hard too. Sounds like a horror movie.

This trailer is going to be some epic shit.

i'm starting to feel like the only way i'd see stuff like this is if james cameron himself came to vancouver and built a real imax with his own two hands T-T

Say what you will about his movies (I think he's better than he gets credit for), but Snyder is the grand fucking champion at trailers.

Expecting something I'll watch 10 straight times.

That Batman suit looks like it has a life of its own, like it's a ghoul or a demon. If only the cape is up to the task, it will be glorious.
