Wondering if gaffers can give me some advice here.
So my last PC hardware purchase was a completely new rig in 2011 for Battlefield 3
Specs are:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590 - 3 GB - (PCI-E)
Asus P8P67 (Intel P67) - B3
Cooler Master 750W PSU - Low Noise
Intel Core i7 2600K Unlocked (4 x 3.4 GHz) 8MB OEM (not currently overclocked)
Corsair 8GB XMS3 PC3-12800 1600MHz (2x4GB) - Lifetime Warranty (DDR3)
Antec Midi Three Hundred Black
500 GB SATA-II 16MB
I want to be able to run it on ultra/very high at 1080p/60fps
Do you think it'd be easy enough to just upgrade the graphics card to a 1070 and upgrade to 16gb RAM? Would I need to change the motherboard?
Apparently the i7 2600k is still pretty decent, came high in a cpu benchmark I saw, reckon that's ok?
Advice would be much appreciated!
