Nope. If 360 reaches 43 million first, they get the map. PS3 users would have to wait until they reach it as well.

When a consoles community unlocks it they can play it regardless where the other console is at towards unlocking theirs..

I have been waiting for the date as well. But nothing yet. The game was officially compete this past Thursday. Now it's in the hands of MS/Sony.

The guns look very cartoony and the game runs exactly like BFBC and doesn't have the improvements BFBC2 has with the engine. I'd rather play BC for now and wait until BC2.

It's got classic 1942 maps, and it's only $15. I didn't play Bad Company and won't play Bad Company 2. I'm all over this though basically because it has Wake Island.

That could be actually a good thing considering Dice couldn't properly fix the mic issue in BF:BC.

So with both The Punisher and BF1943 coming next month, Im not really sure which to get. I mean the whole infinite ammo is retarded but I like the fact you can use multiple vehicles. The punisher gun play looks hot and seems to have great physics and is plenty of gore and flying body parts although in more smaller maps.

It's prolly the PC date (since they can't put up XBLA dates, as Microsoft releases them when they want to).

That's the PC release date. The game was supposed to be out in June on 360 and PS3. But either Microsoft of Sony is taking forever to certify it. The release date will be July 1st or 8th.

I'm so stoked for this game. I'm remembering all those BF1942 good times, and the almost embarrassing amount of time I spent playing it. I'm sort of glad this is geared towards more casual play and quicker matches (at least on consoles). Dunno if I could handle that kind of obsession again, haha.

Just be sure and include Market Garden in the European map pack!
