I don't think that's true. It's straddling the line of false advertising...which would be such an EA thing do to. I don't know.

Either way it'd mean 360 and PC non-Premiums only have to wait two weeks instead of three, so, good news I guess?

Two things:

1. I am not sure how I feel about paying $50 and not even seeing over half of the content. I would really need to trust DICE.
2. Even though I would be paying $50 I would still get treated like a second class citizen by being forced to wait 2 weeks for the same content as PS3 players, and I play on PC!

At the end of the battlefield premium tailer, it said "Available now". I think EA will show this tailer at their show

yup im pretty sure each pack will have new weapons in them and if you buy them all you get all 20

Yeah, so in other words I'm not missing out on anything by buying these packs at my own leisure. Feels safer that way, instead of just going heads in in the name of xp boost, 10% discount and 1 week earlier hands on.

Is it just me or does Double XP (part of Battlefield Premium) feel relatively useless once you get into the level 40 ranks? I mean: I experienced Double XP on PC and while I was certainly ranking up faster it just felt so pointless. There are no new weapons to unlock. No new challenges. No new goals. The ONLY thing that I get from achieving higher ranks is a shiny new emblem and new dog togs.

If there is one thing I will credit Call of Duty for it is they know how to keep the interesting unlocks coming.

It is great if you play the game to fill up bars. Not really my play style, but some people enjoy that endless xp grind to Colonel 100.

Pretty much. The only exclusive thing here is the "double XP" and dogtags for the service.

May be a part of CQC but yes. That's new. LVG wasn't part of the M320 choices before.

M320. M320 Smoke. M320 Frag (I think?). M320 Shotgun. Then the M26 MASS/DART.

I mean, I'm paying for early access, I shouldn't have to wait a week behind some other guy. Plus, it would have been really cool to play against people at E3 tomorrow. If they had CQ up on PC, we could do that.

At the least, the new content should tide me over a week, and E3 will keep me occupied until the maps hit proper...

Broken game? 90% of people either don't notice it or don't mind it. DICE/EA are hardly going to offer a free expansion pack because a small section of the PS3 userbase considers the input lag as game breaking.

The game was/is broken on PS3, and has been for 7 months. They admitted as much, after some pressure. They even patched in the option to turn off anti-aliasing on console to help reduce the input lag.

The majority of players probably didn't notice, but the ones who did are those most likely to buy the DLC and rent servers. Even just a sorry would be nice, especially after they said dumb stuff like this and this.

Good points. I wouldn't expect a free expansion, but indeed an apology should definitely be expected.
