PS3, I stopped purchasing multi-plats for my 360 unless there's a case of a HORRIBLE port to the PS3.

I know the popular thing to say is the the 360 controller is better for shooters but the fact of the matter is that it isn't for me.

Oh and my 3 cousins will be playing online with me and they only have PS3's.

No i'm pretty sure they look at everything, i'm sure the Xbox live online will be fine by the time the game comes out anyway, its such an online centric game if some people were having issues EA would have to sort it out.

Infact they talk of playing the 360 version in this weeks 1up and there is no mention of any lagg issues there.

I don't know about the PS3 version, but I had a lot of friends playing the 360 demo and no one complained about the lag. I'd assume that they are both peer-to-peer and have similar net code so it would depend more upon the players you are playing with than the system itself, especially after having a beta and a demo to iron out any last-minute issues.

What does that mean? Shawn says he's really enjoying it and that he wished it was on PC, I think he would have mentioned Lag if it was there, its not shy of picking faults with consoles.

I know, thats why i'm going to give the game another chance as I played the demo and didn't really think much of it (post COD4). Still I didn't delete it so will give it another go thanks to listening to Shawn on the podcast today.

It´s on dedicated EA servers. Not hosted on users consoles.

We are aware that some players on the Xbox 360 are experiencing lag, caused by MS server configurations, and we are working on a solution to this. Our team is working around the clock to address this issue and we will provide an update as soon as we have more information. Players playing the demo on the Playstation 3 are unaffected by this lag issue.

This seems mostly fixed now.

I think the person who neither played the 360 version nor obviously listened to the podcast would be a more unreliable source of info on the merits of the 360 version?

Also making a blanket statement that all of 1up are some how "unreliable" is idiotic at best imo.

It would be PS3 for me. More of my friends have a PS3. I prefer the PS style controller. Also, I have no XBL Gold, so I could not play online on 360.

The excessive headbobbing makes you feel like you're walking during a constant earthquake. This one will get you sick from motion sickness immediately. Shame, because it's a decent game otherwise. The headbobbing kills it completely though.

Fixed. The headbobbing doesn't bother me at all. I don't even notice it.

:lol That was only on the first few days of the demo, when they updated the servers everything was fine.

Also 360 version, because of the controller. PS3 controller is not made for FPS, there is no resistance and the thumbsticks are too close together.

Lag is fine, been playing with French, UK, US people the lag is awesome! Did the mic work for you in the demo. The crappy thing is the mic either drops or it hangs the game. I hope that bit is fixed in the full game.

I had very mixed results with the mic. However, ever since the 2.36 firmware, the demo has been much more stable for me on my PS3. No sound bugs. I haven't tried the mic but I am looking to play some today (before the Euro semi, that is).
