I've been talking about them. I really don't care if EA bans me from the beta at this point, I'm never playing it again. The entire game is flawed and they'd have to start over to make it decent.

Sure its playable IF you don't own any real battlefield game and its your first time playing the series. Absolutely no reason to play this game if you own a previous battlefield.


The cartoon one is better even though its unbalanced for lower levels, Unique experience compared to the others.

Like I've been saying. The game's good, and it would be great if it changed the mechanics.

:lol :lol :lol No. TBF2: Not being TF2 or BF in gameplay doesn't do it any favors.

Can someone tell me why I have to boot the game from the website? I mean the files get saved to PC. I find it stupid that you have to go to site, log in and boot the game from there.

They should just make the site built into the PC game app or something. Boot exe from PC and launches main site built into the GUI of the game window.

It's how games in Korea work, and since this is a localization of a game from Korea, they never bothered to change it to something more logical for the West.
 
[edit] Nevermind, got it to work. I think I was using the wrong IE, whatever that may be. >_> I tried again today and got it to work.
 
Playing this, it just feels like a watered-down cod/bc2. I guess that's what people were expecting, but I can't understand how DICE plans on making money with this. Kilts and taunts?

My favorite part is playing a medic (like a boss) and when the team needs an engineer for enemy armor.... Oh wait, I can't change classes....
 
Oh cool, didn't know this started already. Pretty sure I signed up for the beta but I haven't been invited yet so if anyone is feeling generous I'll gladly take a key off your hands :lol .

alright so im not the only one that thinks it looks worse. its been a long time since i played BF2 but this version looks off a fair bit. every thing looks soft like a ps2 ubisoft game or something. they said they improved the graphics but im not sure how. i could understand the downgrade if this was a browser based game but its not.




the way they're handling classes really breaks the game. i thought about it for a while on why they would do such a stupid thing then it hit me. why buy stuff for your character when they can force you to have at least 4 and buy stuff for each of them.

i dont like the new map layout either. BF2's 32 player map was fine. if they were going to remove anything then the flag on the hill could be cut but the others should have been in there still.

why anyone would play this and spend money on micro transactions is beyond me. why not just buy BF2 for $7? lots of people still play it, you're getting a lot more content and it's a much better game.

Regarding the game, I'm having fun with it. I never played BF2 before so I can't really compare. Judging by people's reactions, it seems that it's a lot worse than BF2.
 
Fearful of losing my BF3 beta access I'll just say that I concur with the general consensus. Especially this.

I absolutely can not comprehend why anyone would choose to spend money on BFP4F when BF2 exists. The only reason I can think of is that they're unaware of the option.

To be fair, I think the gun models are better. And maybe the APC.
 
So, apparently they're set to update the game/beta in a week or two.

Can't give too many specifics, but hopefully they're fixing the biggest problem with the game. Doubtful, though, and so my beta account will go back to being used only for a novelty. :/
