Battlefield Reveal June 9th

Ahahahahaha. What was the fucking point in hyping that up 😂.

I don't get marketings choice in music either. But what do I know.

People that play BF don't care for these dumb arse trailers. We just want gameplay.

Strangely enough I thought what they did was kinda cool. Running the atv into the helicopter, jumping out of the jet and using an rocket launcher to destroy the other jet before hopping back in, stuff like that essentially captured the way people play Battlefield. But they did it jn a quasi serious tone.

Certainly much better than the BFV reveal.

i believe it was done in bf3...the youtube video has the A team music in the background which makes it more legit.

Well CoD Modern Warfare pissed off some Russians enough for Sony to not sell it on their PSN store in Russia. So idk.

Some people can get mad about anything. But ya. USA v RU is a timeless classic.

Levelutions were excellent in BF4, really changed the dynamic of the map constantly keeping players on their toes and allowing for switch up of tactics.

People have always been able to do crazy stupid stuff in Battlfield. The plane-zooka attack and ATV (which is on the top of a roof for whatever reason) being used as a weapon are some well known BF tactics. I think a lot of this trailer was DICE acknowledging a lot of the dumb (re: fun) stuff people have been able to do. . .like getting an ATV on the top of a roof.

Tbf that was due to COD changing America's war crimes into Russia's war crimes. It was utterly bizarre stuff.

Well they have my attention. This reveal, while still incredibly silly and over the top, is much better than BFV's (or BF1's for that matter).

Hoping the gameplay is solid and it runs okay on my ageing PC. Bring on June 13th!

Does that mean there's going to be two wholly separate versions? One for the old-gen, segregated into their own servers and the other for next-gen (which is where I imagine the majority of people will be). Seems tricky to pull off from a content update sort of perspective?

aside from the bullshit of ending with announcing another reveal date….

it looks fuking dope. clearly i cant base that on gameplay, since there was none, but they made it abundantly clear in the trailer that "only on battlefield moments" are back and a huge focus.

i love the near future (and the cybertruck tanks) setting and the scale of the maps.

im pretty damn excited, i gotta say. as long as they keep with their "homage to bf3/4" gameplay promise ls then this should be a great entry

Actually surprised by people who expected gameplay in a reveal trailer.
Really really liked it because it seems like a game that might be built around having fun and big moments.
Looking forward to gameplay.

As a BF fan, I am hyped for the gameplay. 99% of the users in here don't get the BF eastereggs, lol.

this. people are missing the point here. they were clearly trying to tell us that "only in battlefield" moments are a huge focus. its great.

im meh on the tornados though. evolutions were always cool the first few times but them just got annoying.

Battlefield has been like this since Bad Company 2...this is what BF fans (at least on PC) do, this is how it's played...looks to me that they're finally accepting what they are. A big dumb military sandbox with hollywood physics.
