Bayonetta 2 director wants to make Spider-Gwen game

Korra's core gameplay is good though. What fails it is a painfully obvious amount of asset reuse and limited levels. Something that very clearly down to budget.
I'm sure Shattered Dimensions would've also benefitted if it a higher budget. It wasn't exactly a "triple A" game. It's not like it got Arkham levels of care from Beenox of all developers lol.

Long story shortGwen (who's the drummer of a band with Mary Jane) gets bitten by the radioactive spider instead of Peter. Wanting to have power like Gwen, Peter makes himself into the Lizard of Spider-Gwen's universe & ends up dying in Gwen's arms. As a result, the entire police department is gunning for Spider-Gwen's head using Peter's death as a rallying cry. Gwen's dad was in charge of the task force, but leaves the group after discovering that the Spider-Woman they were hunting was Gwen. Now Frank Castle is in charge of the task force.

Yeah, but that presumes that those games were equal in dev time and finances. If Shattered Memories had Korra's budget, there's zero chance it'd have been a good game, hell there's barely a chance it'd have worked.
Racing levels featuring Peter Parked Car.I'd rather just see a Platinum developed Spider-Family game.
Gwen is probably the most boring character in the whole ensemble they could draw from for a character action game.

And the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Earth-199999.

You assume too much, alternate universes are pretty much what ruined comics, If there was a thread in the GAMING section mentioning comics, you'd be privileged to hear my old man rants on everything from Samuel L. Fury to Peter Parker dying because it was time he was replaced by a random teenager. I've always been a nemesis of this push to water down characters via alternate dimension arcs rather than make new compelling characters in the single universe that they always existed in. I used to collect comics for their story, Vertigo craps on marvel from an astonishing height when it comes to that, this is bottom of the barrel stuff even by marvels standards.
