I've tried to play this game on 3 seperate occasions and could never get into it even when I was trying to play it the way people suggested to. Even so, I'm so excited for this game to come to PC! I know there's something there and exciting that once it clicks it could be one of my all time favorite 3rd person shooters. Will buy it day 1 because god damn it I want to love this game so bad! Hopefully the magic will spark on PC for me if not I'm always glad to support Platinum.

Got the Futurepress Vanquish guide a couple months ago just as a collectable but it's way more detailed than I expected for such a short game. Not sure if all Futurepress guides are this quality but it's a nice pick up.

Not going to lie 'Gaf, I like Vanquish so much more than Bayo. I've purchased both, and more than once, so SEGA has my support for all of their good ports but Vanquish is most definitely my jam.

The story and characters are pure B movie cheese but the action is grade A+ awesome fun. That's why I like it.

I think Otogi is an extra stretch since it's an old FromSoft game. Sega just published it in NA.

Vanquish might be the most refined game Platinum has ever made when it comes to pure mechanics and character-player expression. Arguably best combat in a TPS ever too.\

If the scoring and weapon upgrade systems were better handled, it would be the best TPS ever for me.

I've been saying for a while now that Microsoft could go a long way toward rekindling good will toward fans/interest for its platform by trying to bring back a bunch of the old Sega-published Xbox exclusives to UWP - which were a significant part of why the original's library was so good in the first place.

But if Sega is willing to port them on their own, then I'm all for it.

Guys it's not Bayo 2 or Vanquish.

It's Okami 4K Edition, all three DLC campaigns and the Okamaiden minigame.

Such a shame Capcom hasn't gotten HexaDrive to do this yet.

Vanquish was a great case of breaking the genre's frequent reliance on cover heavy TPS with bullet sponges and clunky melees with its action game approach. Crazy how Mikami went from RE4's strict movement rules to Vanquish.
